Angel crust? Egg whites and saltine cracker crumbs?

Hi - Angel pie crust came from the German baking chocolate box when I was a little girl. Egg whites, sugar and vanilla. Toasted diced pecans if the pie is chocolate.

That would work good for those folks that can't twiddle their thumbs without looking at them!

Shhh, don't tell anyone - I own a bakery! Our best seller is peanut butter cupcakes with whipped chocolate ganache icing. Or chocolate chip cupcakes. Or choclate mocha cupcakes...oh, they're all good. And then there are pies...I love pie!
With all them cups asked I can't wait to meet you..

I won't tell any one.. the DW owns a restaurant. Which puts me in a quandary. I'm retired and want her to retire so we can travel more, but then I loose skill the goodies she makes in her kitchen..

Duckman, You are my sortta guy. After all, ”Life is short, eat desert first." Everyone remembers this quote exactly, but no one remembers Jacques Torres, who several sources say coined the phrase. I wonder why?

Cholesterol clogging the memory.

I always liked the quote (and don't know where I hears it) Life is too short for savory deserts.

Don, we are planning to go the motel route for our trip. You are correct it is not a good time to travel with 5er in tow.
I too love just about anything lemon, used to eat them with a bit of salt when much younger, doubt I could do that anymore. Lemon water is the best drink. Since I don't drink booze or sodas or beer or much of anything really besides coffee and water. It is part of my life change to try to be more conscious of what I consume. But I still eat bad stuff now and then. Just not as much as I used to.

I have got to get out to Vegas. Your DW is Mary (right) - she must be a great cook if you balance her cooking against retirement!

Stay safe on your trip, sorry it couldn't be under happier circumstances.

Anything you eat must be in moderation. After all, ever hear about the rat that died when the scientist injected it with a pound of cheese?
