Came back in house to wait out the New Year, left Bon fire to the youngsters! Best part is the brush pile will be gone by morning!

Happy New Years!

Call a Carpet cleaner if not a restoration contractor. They can extract and clean your carpet at the same time. Fans would then evaporate remaining moisture.

Happy New Year everyone! However you celebrate be safe and the best of wishes!

For us, it's track time until the fireworks want us. Which they will since we are only a few blocks from the Strip.

We had good luck with Stanley Steemer carpet restoration. Very professional.

Oh yeah, the fog lifted and I can get Internet service again. I guess the locals are right about the fog messing with cell phone signals. Another hour before 2014 hits the west coast.

I just bought some Meyer lemons, so need to decide what yummy thing to do with them first. Cheers! Sue
Sue, angel crust is totally gluten free - egg whites, sugar, cream of tartar (optional) and finely chopped pecans if making a pie that would be good with nuts. It's really a meringue, just baked at low temp until crunchy.

If I had Meyer lemons, I would be making lemon curd. It's good as a cake filling, pie (see above) and is delicious on scones with clotted cream. I had a Meyer lemon tree when we lived in Los Angeles many years ago. Our neighbors had an avocado tree. We traded - they wanted lemons for tequila drinking and I wanted avocados for guacamole eating. Everybody wins!

If you look closely at this picture - you can see Bonita returning to mother earth and sister sea.

Again - not endorsing or seeking comment. It really was a play on words. Perhaps a bad one but has lead to me remember my Bonita at New Years!

Happy New Year to All.
It was only bad for me since I didn't understand it, sorry, because it was most clever I am glad it did trigger your aunt and her valiant fight, and I am sure many good and happy memories....
Province of Ontario I believe are also going on board with this medication for these diseases. In my humble opinion if it is the only thing to take qwqy the pain, them it is a good thing... but as we know someone or somemany will come along and mess it all up for those who legitimately need it.... lets hope not.

All said, 3min to 2014 and to all a good night and I raise my cup of hot lemon in toast for your good health and continuing safe journey through the coming year.... 'chimo'

Happy New Year.

You wouldn't believe all the gunshots at midnight, and they're still going off at 15 minutes after. So much for Shannon's law.

"Shannon's law is named after Shannon Smith, a fourteen-year-old Phoenix girl killed by a stray bullet in June 1999."

It's a felony to discharge a gun in the air in AZ. People are so stupid. Hope they get caught. Glendale, AZ has a system that can pinpoint the locations of gunshots. Sure wish Phx would get it.

What kind of kayak do you have? Back in the day (so long ago) we had two old town kayaks but when we adopted out kids we had to go to canoes because they were old enough (8 & 10) to be in a boat by themselves. We had 15 yrs of great canoeing before we moved on to something else.

JudyH: In your signature you tell us the name of the Westie Molly, and the name of your the Fourche Terrier Sadie, but not the name of your Husband. Are you ashamed of him? HA HA HA. Just poking fun but Enguireing minds want to know.
