I'm the stacking judge and placement judge. I'll sit back and tell you what to do (or where to go.)

Judging could be tough!

I'll be the judge of how the judging will be done.

Pleased that things are better for you Dave. Deb gave me a heads-up on FB.

I know you are both anxious for some WARM in FL, and we hope there is an mini C op to hookup with youse and Jeff & Marcia after you get to Desert Trails. The folks will treat you real good there!

Nola says "hi" to both of you.

Dave

Zip line

The options are 2,4, or 7 zip lines.
Price is $45/person for 2 zips, $65/person for 4 zips and $95/person for 7 zips. She offers a 10% discount for groups of 10 or more on the 4 and 7 zips only.

Now here is a catch..... They are open by appointment only because her guides have full time jobs elsewhere. She has asked that we try to schedule on either Sat. Or Tues. so she can have enough guides on hand to accommodate a group of 10 or more but I told her we wouldn't know for sure how many may participate until
right before....

Okay I'm done!

I'm so glad that "someone in charge" called her because when I talked to her yesterday morning she didn't know anything about us coming. It was a suprise to her, so I suggested that she call CL. From talking to her I'm game for the first 2 lines, I think that any more and my hips might not let me get back to the top. One of the good thing about the first 2 lines is they go across the mtn instead of straight down. At first I thought they were in a straight line and we'd have to walk all the way back up, but they realized that couch potatoes couldn't walk that far with out an EMS partner so they laid the runs out across the mtn like a rough "V" sideways.

I've been talking to our neighbors about this and they think that we've lost some of our marbles. They don't realize that the bag already isn't full. You only go around once so ENJOY.

With ya on the 2 zips... not sure I want to try to force myself to do more... might regret it. (1 zip is going to be exhilarating enough... 2 will surly satisfy my adrenaline junky that lives hidden inside ....)

Mary says you better plan to do them all, you can always back out when you get there. We did 9 lines in CO this summer, great fun.

Oh, Muties, we are not having fun. Our power has been off since 7am due to a substation fire, and baby, it's cold outside! We are boiling water on our gas range to keep the birdies warm, but it could be a very long night. The low tonight is 25. The forecast for Monday's low is -1. Think warm thoughts!

Ohh, too cold for tropical birds. I wish i could offer you a solution but my only thoughts are the safe for inside heaters that burn kerosine. Kero-World Radiant Kerosene Heater | Canadian Tire

I have two that I use to heat up my shop when its cold outside and I am too lazy to light the airtight burner or I'm just going to be out there for a short time. I have no problem with them and always leave the big doors ajar a bit for fresh air. On the lowest setting it should keep the birds warm enough to be warm, not sure that they will stay healthy with the increased CO level.

Read the product Q & As on the right.

Yay! Happy dance! 👣🎶💡 We have power! The almond croissants I had rising overnight are in the oven, and coffee is brewing. Ahhhh, and the heat is on. Eight birds, four dogs, three grandkids and two adults are a lot of critters to try to keep warm!

I have PM'd her several times and no reply. I hope everything is ok with them. They live fairly close to the GC @ CL...

On another note - went to Dr for blood work Monday - Thursday mid day - sick as a dog. Still down and just checking in.

DavDeb - glad you were released from hospital. Feel better and better every day!

No fun at all...have a generator you can run outside their room and run the cord through a window? What about your RV? Temp living quarters if this goes on too long?
