So I have to ask, does the Canadian Government let you as a citizen dispatch these threats to the hood or are ya just supposed to report it. It seems to me that something that size and on 4-paw drive should be eradicated on sight, much like feral hogs in the States, curious minds want to know.

Ok Steve, here's what you've done! Just hearing about how sick you are has sent Mary and I out today to secure a flu shot. Got it but not ready to battle this brut yet.

Return of an appetite is good, just don't over do it. All systems in the body are weak and overloading the digestive tract could backfire, so slow and easy.

If you know who posted the reply you can click on their avatar which brings up a box with several choices, one of which is "list post". That's what I did.

I've also used the dates to scan back if I know about when something happened. The search feature also can be used, first go to thread, then search, may have to use a variety of key words.

Others may have better ideas!

Surely Okra wasn't mentioned so many times in the forums that it would be a long search!

Maybe you will find this humorous...or humorless... we'll see... but my biggest achievement today was--- I saved a chicken. I do a farm sitting biz as part of my Critter care biz and someone asked about a chicken with a problem that I knew I would have the cure for, so I squeezed in a trip to "Hoot Owl Hill" farm today to take a natural cure (Kefir, and kefir whey kraut) out to a chicken. Hubby called me the chicken savior.

Ok, so I thought it was a little funny, if not a tad sacrilegious.

I have managed to combine fulltiming and dirt therapy by enhancing the yards of the people whose homes I park at for longer periods of time. I have flower beds in both Seattle and here at the river house that I plant with low maintenance flowers, bulbs and small shrubs. In Florida I assist the gardening homeowner with his projects. It sure takes the pressure off and gives me that toes in the dirt, sunshine time. No long cold winters or sweltering summers to endure. I even enjoy pulling weeds.

Can't just dispatch them, only if a threat to life or property. Report in city limits. Relocation has proven not to work here. Deer are regulars in our hood. The cougars follow the deer.
