Glad to see from "the Steve report" that he is well enough to complain. Yes, when I was in just over a year ago it was similar, I think they are secretly monitoring you, and when you are quiet for a little while, they strike.
Thanks for the reassuring news that my web experiences with this site are not personal.
Maybe IRV2 is growing too fast for their servers.

What is up with this website? Seems like often lately that I can't gain entrance. Then when I do the settings are not where I had them. Just that I am so easily confused, I think it is my new laptop playing tricks, but every where else is still like I left it. It just has to be IRV2 playing pranks on me. Or am I the only one this is happening to?
Should I be paranoid?
Don't get all paranoid, we are watching you.

Last evening when I logged on I got about a page and a half or error code dumps and my login was at the bottom and successful. Weird that all that IT stuff got broadcast to me (and possibly others) but when I tried to post it did weird things to my posts and I had to edit them.

Only 237 to go!!!!

How many mutants does it take to break on through to the rainbow side - no servers required - mutant mind meld telepathy? 1 more - 10 more - when we reach 100 - immediately following the GC @ CL? Ommmm.

So lunch was served - at least I won't starve to death. And you guess it - Here is lunch - And before I could remove the cover - open wide for thermometer - let's get that BP checked - etc.

Edit - I would like to thank Possum for the demonstration. I didn't even know he was making rounds....

Real grits (not instant). Also must add Cream, not just water to cook them in!

Quack. Quack, quack.

I'm sure your DWs restaurant has grits on the menu. While never a big fan, I would give hers a try for sure.

When I hear grits - I always think of Joe Psssci in My Cousin Vinny.

"Vinny Gambini: Are we to believe that boiling water soaks into a grit faster in your kitchen than anywhere else on the face of the earth?!!"

A very funny movie methinks.

I loved that movie. Haven't seen it years. I learned to make grits the real way, no instant packaged stuff for my first husband. Grits were served with butter and salt and pepper on the side of eggs. Have not cooked them in over 35 years and do not intend to do so in another 35 years. I eat them if served but don't go out of my way to get them. Okra is different, don't like, don't eat, don't cook 'em either. Also don't like beets, or disgusting canned spinach.
Steve, your meals don't look too awful. The last time I was in hospital you had to order your meals from menu. And you only got exactly what you ordered. And you could eat anytime.

He had to sharpen the scraper blade...it worked better on the multi tool then. Then...he broke the blade and had to go get another.... one way or another we keep working at it...we'll get it done before the grand curiosity!

Steve did they test you for MERSA? I had to go get swabbed today to test to see if I'm a carrier. The hospital up here won't admit you unless you have been tested. If you have it you are put into isolation and given different antibiotics, so they say. I think it's all just a plot. They must all be wearing hats like Possum's.

So is Annie going to spring you from your nut ward in time for the GC?

Barb - until looking it up now I had not heard of what I assume is Middle East Respiratory Syndrome - so I have no idea. Figured I had been poked and probed and tested for most things.

Not sure when Annie will spring me. One side effect of heavy steroids by IV is elevated blood sugar. So now they are sticking me for that and popping me with insulin to bring it down. Geesh... What next. That is normal and since I'm apparently getting better the steroids are now every 12 hours instead of 8. Maybe I can go home tomorrow, but until the blood sugar is down - and the steroids can stop, I fear not tomorrow.

At least I feel better as long as they keep the O coming and pumping the other stuff in. That's something to hang on.

Hopefully I will get some sleep tonight. Later mutants! You're powerful medicine, that's for sure.
