Hang in there, Steve - we're still sending you healing ohhhmmmmmmms. Recovery can take a long time, so be patient (you ARE, in fact, the patient), and you will be well soon.

On another note, I filed my taxes tonight. Oh, my sore and aching head. We have three grandkids living with us, so I filed as head of household. We've run through a lot of savings taking in three kids and providing for all of their needs, which has been a cause for concern. My tax refund will help put a little back in the savings/retirement pot.

^^^ Thanks Elizabeth!

Whoot - Whoot on the tax refund. For several years now, i have increased my w/h to make sure I do not have to pay. It is a terrible savings rate - but I went many years paying taxes on taking income to pay taxes. Viscisous cycle. Now - I over withhold - and take the refund.

And three mutant cheers for the love and life you are giving to the youngins. I'm sure it isn't easy, but there is no greater gift than love. Well played - and very mutant of you two!

Btw - sent ya a PM last night in case ya missed it.

All the mutant best to you.

Oh my Steve, are you sure you will be ready to go back to work by Monday? What with your long commute and all that back breaking labor you do all day. Man, I just don't see how you'll ever manage.

Ask Annie if that was good enough for the chops busting I promised to provide. Feel better my friend. I challenge you to a foot race at the GC@CL. You better start getting in shape. I'll have new knees by then.

My mistake! I love my job and the contributions I make. I just love my RV more. Four boys? Bless you...

That's coming up pretty soon right Barb, like the fifth? Have a BIL that had one knee repaired, then 6 weeks later a replacement. Sadly he had to go back to work. So Sad!

Worse part is he has two new knees and sets all day meaning he has to exercise at home! Did I mention he's also on a diet. Man I feel bad for him, WORK, EXERCISE AND DIET.

No matter how well organized and firm it is, round is still not a great shape.

I am awaiting some papers from the government to see how much more I have to give the government as my share of the tax relief.

Yep, the Feb 5th is correct. I'm not down to counting the hours yet, but only because they won't give me a surgery time until Feb 3rd

Tim, I'm ashamed of you You know better than to use cuss words on this thread!! And 3 such ugly ones right in a row??? Didn't your momma teach you better than that???

Good morning muteys, it's snowing here. It was in the 60s Sunday and we were riding 4 wheelers in the swamps of south AR.

Sometimes it is rest that heals the best, Steve. And I don't know how you were able to LOSE weight on steroids? When I was on Prednisone, I was ravenously hungry and quickly put 10 lbs on. And though pounds seems to effortlessly accrue, it takes much to take them back off.
We have had a couple days of winter here, and it snowed all day yesterday but only managed to amount to about 2 inches here. Heard they got it worse south than here.

And no snow here! Diwizi, you are too far north still! And Papaw2five, how's Ruskin?

The guys are on the shuffleboard court across the road, walkers are doing their laps, and the morning fog has lifted. Temps back up in the 70s where they belong, although another cold snap is forecast.

Going on our 2nd cruise in a couple of weeks. Won't play shuffleboard (I'm not old enough!), but might play ping pong. This ship has one of those glass-floored skywalks you can include (optionally!) in walking laps. And food to test your willpower!

There has been illness aboard another line in the Caribbean, so we are holding our breath. Wonder if we can do that for a whole week? We'll look like Smurfs!

Steve, you keep on doing that heavy napping thing and be patient w/yourself. Glad you're on the mend!

Cheers!
Sue

BURRRR...it is "only" 48* here @ 9 AM with an expected high of 52*. Looking at 80s in 2 days.

The last week has been semi painful...LOTS of dental work! For the most part I am doing fine but had to go back yesterday to have part of the work re-stiched. More coming next week.

Made plans to take the coach to MCD Industries just North of Plano, TX. We will be there the week before the GC@CL to have all the shades replaced. I'll be in Steve's back yard for a week and if it all works out we may have the first mutant convoy tooling its way to CL.

Yesterday we had the windshield, side window and wheel well covers installed. The "Green Wave" (not sure if that name will stick but I'm trying it on for size) is being further enhanced for our pleasure.

Can't believe it has been over a month since we landed at Winter Ranch! Time is flying.
