Hey, Barb, Jan and I have a Honda Fit. We got it new last April. Got 9000 miles on it now, because we like to spend some time exploring wherever we go.

Definitely NOT a Jeep. But it does average over 30 mpg

Se you there.

Thanks, Martin! Sunsets and sunrises are my favorites. God does color so vividly well.

Don (Sky_Boss) - Jim (Cart) - Jeff (PTJeep) - Herb (HerbnBarb) - Wayne (WayneM)

And anyone else heading to the CG at CL via Dallas / DFW --- I plan to run up to this RV Park on Lake Texoma this weekend as it might make a good launch pad toward the GC.

Cedar Mills RV Park
Lake Texoma Tx
500 Harbour View Rd,
Gordonville, TX 76245

It's a little west of Sherman, Tx. about 60 miles from where I park Bonita - 60 Miles from Frisco Tx were Jeff and Marcia plan to be - and there is a direct shot from Sherman to Paris (where Cart is) and from there on to I-30 North to Hot Springs. Since Don and Sandee are starting from MCD in McKinney - the short run from there to Sherman will be an easy trip up 75 for them.

I have not been to this park so I want to check it out before I recommend it. Don and I talked to tonight and he is researching some other places near McKinney. Once we figure it out - we'll post additional suggestions - or feel free to make your own suggestions or plans.

Shhh. What was that. Did you hear that. What's that noise. Ahhhh - it's the sound if the GC @ CL closing in on us!!

Texas contingent (and visiting Texans) stand by - a convoy is in the making.

So two things have since occurred -
1st- Annie is meeting a girlfriend for lunch near the deli tomorrow. She is going to stop by and pick me up a to go order to test out - just to be sure the quality is still up. So I will report back tomorrow.

2nd - somebody went and got a new Jeep and I'll bet they'd drive 100 miles to go meet at Dennys.

Still - the Sammich QC is on for tomorrow. And soon we will be planning a mini-C. Details to follow.

Steve, I know exactly where that deli is, used to go by it quite often when we lived in Garland and then Terrell when I went shopping in Plano. I drive at least twice a month to the Allen/Fairview area. I believe you have been to Paris before so you know how small this place is and I have "cabin fever" quite often. And you are right, Jim would be willing to drive the new Jeep most anywhere for a sandwich, etc.

Hey, did you know the first thing flamingos do when the mate and build their nest? They buy little plastic dunner statues to decorate their lawns.

We wish we could join you all at the deli. I wish we could join you at the CG @ CL.

Like I told Steve on the phone. DW and I are only one lottery win away from attending. We'll be there in spirit for both the mini and the major.

But I'm with Dunner -- who needs pride, or toad envy?
No TOAD envy here. It's the same saying as an RV, "It doesn't matter what you RV in, you will have just as much fun," and that applies to TOADS.

However as much as the MKX does, I may have to trade it in. Earlene is upset that it doesn't make milkshakes cruising down the highway! Sheesh!

Does that make Barb Mutant #31-A, or #31-DW?

Dennis, Earlene is going to open a can of Whoop-butt if you keep telling her that she needs bread crumbs.

Hey guys I'm sorry if I suggested jeeps are anything over any other toad cause that definitely is not the case ! Nothing to be envious of at all. I only meant that seems like jeeps are more prevalent as toads but then I see a lot of Honda's as well. Ditto what Barb said toads as well as our rainbow floats are all about what makes you comfortable and meets your needs. Actually after cruising in Wayne's MKX I could get use to that real quick.

What choice did Earlene make as to being an "A" or "DW"? I know my DW refers to me as an "A" sometimes.
