Excellent thought Marty!!
BTW- I'm trying to get Annie to put streaks of vibrant color in hair. No guarantee you two would gravitate but then again - a few of the Jeepers might not hit it off so they may be available for her to talk too.

IPhone. Mike. I haven't gotten a iPad yet. My laptop is in the office. It gets limited use.

For the Mutants that are hair challenged, what would be the course of action there. You can't color what isn't there.
I guess if your a Mutey you won't miss what isn't there. Right!!

Arlington to Cooper Lake SP = ~ 106 miles

Cooper Lake SP to GC @ CL = ~ 228 miles

The overall distance is a bit further when going to GC @ CL from Arlington via Cooper Lake - but it breaks the trip down into two nice segments.

I also think the Cooper Lake SP will be as nice or nicer than anything along I-30 headed toward CL (Jim or Jim and I will scout Cooper out). I did some looking on the route up I-30 and didn't really see a place that looked overly inviting mid way between Dallas and Hot Springs. Not saying it doesn't exist - just didn't see it. At $26 for a night, if Cooper is as good as it sounds - it could be a nice place for a layover curiosity of mutants.
I'm all for Cooper Lake as a meet and jump off point. I'll speak with Earlene (I do on occasion) and get reservations for when we will be leaving the Ft Worth area. I have one friend up there, and then there is Herb also.

Hey guys, you could discuss this on the email list.
NOT! It's already crowded with the other ramblings.

Absolutely....oh wait, I use a track pad. That's okay, it scrolls faster.

============

I like the banter and camaraderie that has formed on this thread. I get a kick out of all the ramblings in different directions. I agree that the visibility that the RVM's get here is worth the ramblings. I believe that reading this thread gives a lurker insight to the fun we have and the fun we are going to have.

This thread is under the "Just Conversations" portion of the iRV2 forum. There is no reason that another thread, maybe titled "RVM Travel to GC@CL" could not be started, or any other discussion. However, I like keeping up with just one, and I read every bit of the new posts two times a day, most days. After all, I'm retarded.....er retired.

I am now going to turn off the Interferometric modulator display, followed by slumber with my dreams of the journey to the GC@CL.

To be totally truthful... DH doesn't really like my colorful hair streaks... I don't reallly care... I don't like that he cuts his short (and is losing his), but I don't say anything about that... it's his head to wear how he likes. He will try to tell folks who compliment me on my hair not to encourage me... that just assures me I am on the right track...LOL! I guess I'm still a bit naughty inside someplace.Perhaps that is where the sick twisted part of my mutancy resides....

You know that smacking your forehead like that only causes more damage to those delicate hair follicles.

I'd go nuts using a phone to post on the forum. I hate those virtual KBs.

I saw the thread title...Coolant life/change question on the sidebar where you see recent thread activity. Of course there isn't a clue what section that thread is in, and being female of a certain age group, I thought " Oh great!... here's a thread by a woman I can enjoy and learn something from!" It was about radiators and coolant. I was disappointed. Thought the ladies might get a laugh out of my silly expectations there.

In my case, the gray matter expanded so much, it pushed the follicles out.
