First, Glad your doing well with the knee.
Steve, No problem with lunch....great to get to talk to you.
The place looks good, concrete pads most have a picnic table with cover. Lots of trees but the large sites (back ins) have had them thinned out. Toad parking may be a little close. But there are parking spaces located close to every two or three sites. I think it may be the best option to get out of the big city traffic and relatively close to I-30.

I am now committed to Lake Cooper. I will be there starting the 18th (possibly the 17th) leaving the 23rd.

I belong to a group of volunteers that are keeping the right of way of out Island Railroad cleared of undergrowth and weeds. We also check for bridge and roadbed water damage. The local paper is doing a story on us and his may be the lead in picture. I'm the guy in the middle.

We have a walking trail that is a old railroad right of way. It is part of a trail that will go from Farmersville TX to near Texarkana. 135 miles.
