Sorry to hear about that... grand old buildings are beautiful and help tell the story of a town. It's a shame to lose them.

I planted some Lemon Drop melon seeds minutes ago. With the warm weather we have been having in Phx, I could have done it weeks ago. They should germinate in 4-6 days, if they were like the failed crop I planted in late, late fall. Only two matured, and one of those split open. The other was bitter, but did have a slight lemon taste. It was just an experiment to see if they would grow in the mild winters we have in Phx.
