Marty, I feel your pain. We need to find a sunny weather dance.

Glad you're not over in Snoqualmie today Barb. That landslide is right in the area Denise and I overnight at when we head out going east.

Yikes! You need to find a safer rest stop, Dennis. Thanks for the heads up.

Annie doesn't mind loading up one bit. LOL. It's the falling piano or Wylie Coyote Anvil that concerns me the most. But can't control so don't worry about it.

What we had to pack is stuff we wouldn't normally carry - My amplifier - 48 Mutant Mugs - 60 Mardi Gras Hurricane Glasses - 10 pounds of Mardi Gras Beads - the Smoker - the galvanized tub for beer and Tim. We actually are really ready roll at the drop of a hat Wayne. Bonita has her own linens, towels, clothes, dishes, everything really. But since this is a Grande Curiosity the load is special!! But sure I'll try retirement one day. In fact send me a gift of $35k and I'll retire tomorrow!

The Great Bacon Challenge

PTJeep - Jeff has accepted the challenge - and is now the sole / soul contender in the Great Bacon Challenge!! We currently have 4 Judges and 1 Contestant. Who will be next to step forward and proclaim their bacon cooking prowess? The meal form has a place for your Participation status...

Tip of the hat to Jeff as well for using the www.rvmutants.com "Contact Us" form to let me know he had changed his mind and was willing to show up anyone who cared to challenge him at makin' bacon....

The great Bacon Challenge also includes all foods that feature bacon as an ingredient, right? So we actually have 2 entries with the German green beans.

I KNOW some of you have some marvelous recipes for this most devine delicacy. This is our signature food folks. We need to have lots of entries.

Guys, have a chat with your DWs about this, please.

Wish we could attend. I'm sure that Denise would want everyone to sample her bacon cooking abilities.

BTW if you wonder why we live way out here in the Pacific Northwet take a gander at this, or is it that; maybe those....

Barb's choice of habitat is about 150 miles due south of us and its equally as beautiful.

I accept The Great Bacon Challenge - providing it is a double-blind contest. I believe double-blind is necessary in order to negate any advantage Jeff may have from Jeeping with the Judges.

I have already submitted my meal form. Do I need to re-do it in order to go for the bacon?

This just sounds like toooo much fun to miss out on. Where are the 'rules' for this "Bacon Challenge" so any other willing competitor may decide to enter?

Hey jne !!!,

Let there be no mistake there won't be any partiality given because of our various toads coming from the same company. We ride our toads by the seat of our pants, and I think I can pretty much assure you these delicacies will not be judged by the seat of anyone pants, but the fine palates of those that be judges.

Cheers !!!!

No need to resubmit - I got ya! Jne is in - but I and RVM1 will not be judges... We don't want any appearance of impropriety.... Actual impropriety is another thing altogether.
