We actually are really ready roll at the drop of a hat Wayne. Bonita has her own linens, towels, clothes, dishes, everything really. But since this is a Grande Curiosity the load is special!! But sure I'll try retirement one day. In fact send me a gift of $35k and I'll retire tomorrow!
I hope I don't have to ride the whole way there in the tub!

Tip of the hat to Jeff as well for using the www.rvmutants.com "Contact Us" form to let me know he had changed his mind and was willing to show up anyone who cared to challenge him at makin' bacon....

I KNOW some of you have some marvelous recipes for this most devine delicacy. This is our signature food folks. We need to have lots of entries.

Guys, have a chat with your DWs about this, please.
Me thinks someone needs to go back and read some threads. I said we are cooking bacon so we are in. It may be plain, it may be special, only the cook knows. WE WERE #1

That Jeep bacon thief of numbers - no way!

Wayne - i was going off of the Meal Form submissions and am pretty sure you said NO - to Participate in the Great Bacon Challenge. But the important thing is you are IN the competition and the important numbers are 1st - 2nd and 3rd place in the Judging - not the order in which you signed up to compete.

Hello Mutey's !!!!

I decided to compete when our great Potentate was wringing his hands an tugging Hus hair over the fact that at one point we had more Judges than we did contestants, now that the Challenge is definitely afoot let the sizzle begin, and may the tastiest Bacon dish be the star not the mutant that brought it into being.

Cheers !!!! and three Ha Zah's

All I can say is wow, Dennis. We have never been to the PNW but it looks breathtaking. Is the city Vancouver, I would guess. Thought it was Seattle at first.

Well, Jeff & Steve (and poor silent David, drug into this mess by proxy),

I am sure that we can each acknowledge that The Great Bacon Challenge can only be enriched (striped of impropriety) by strict adherence to specific judging guidelines. A few suggestions might be:

1) Judges will wear masks over BOTH eyes (hence the expression: double-blind).
2) Prior to placements being awarded, Judges will not inquire as to the name of the chef, title of the dish, or, for that matter, the name of the manufacturer of the chef’s toad.
3) Judges will belt down a slug of Jne’s special “palate-clearing wash” before tasting each entry. A Judge who is a practicing member of AA is exempt from this rule.
4) (And - My Favorite-) The Seat of Pants Rule: Judges will be seated on their pants and use only their fine palates when deliberating final placement of entries.

Feel free to add whatever your sense of impropriety dictates.
