Why thank you, Dave. Life with Sena is always an adventure. Just ask her.

Does she want the lights left on or off? I meant to ask that earlier but forgot.

Today we peered into and climbed down into a dirt hole.
Today I rescued a lizard and loved my monkey.
Today I worked a double shift (am working now as a matter of fact).
What varied lives we mutants lead.
The GC is upon us.
If you haven't submitted your Meal Form - please take a few minutes to do so.
Go to www.rvmutants.com and under Events - click on GC @ CL Sign UP Form. Remember - there is a printable sign up form to use as a guide or to jot your ideas on before entering the form. Once you start the form the fields are required. There is also a meal summary / menu file with the current 11 entries in a format that's easy to review. Please get your entries submitted.
Also - the Bacon Challenge Contestants are coming out of the woodwork.
Wayne - Steve (Papawto5), Di, Jeff, RVM1, Jne,
I currently have Barb and Bob (TEFFY) as judges - but admittedly work has me distracted. If I missed anyone in either category let me know. Or we can draw chits....
Thanks mutants! We're heading into unchartered territory here. Perhaps our slogan should be -
What Happens at the GC Stays at the GC.
RVM2

Dennis is talking about me arguing with Sena while I was talking to him on the phone tonight. We are working out some details for a PNW midi-curiosity in August. Stay tuned to this channel for more details.
Oh, and she wanted it on. It's bad when someone wakes you up by turning on an overhead light when you're sound asleep. But when a "lower" creature on the evolutionary scale does it, it's downright maddening. Guess how I know.

Been to AR many times and canoed a lot of rivers but this trip is to sit, visit, and zip line.

I'm following Bob until the 'zip line' part. But I watch others attempting deth defying feats with camera in hand. Someone has to be able to post the pics after the phrase "Here,,,, hold my beer and watch this".

Steve:
I hope that if the GC doesn't come off as planned you don't get to unhappy, remember we are mutants and our schedules are subject to change. One of my history profs used to say that the direction of a buffalo stampeed could be changed by the flight of a single bee over one of their ears. Mutants are almost that bad. WE are coming for the fellowship and enjoyment.
Since I don't cook very well, I figure that I will be the gopher during meal prep and a willing member of the clean-up crew. Ladies - Teffy and I have been married for over 49 years and she has taught me to take directions very well, so don't be bashful about telling me what to do.

Good morning Mutants,
Today after putting up with high winds and blowing dust, we are headed to Yuma's painted desert to see the color of spring. I hope your day will be just as beautiful.
As far as the GC is concerned .. I think it will be indeed Grand, herding mutants is probably closely related to herding cats, to get as many of us as possible to land in one spot for a week .. is a major event in and of itself .. and we will have Bacon !!!
Cheers !!!

Bob - and All RVMs:
When we all gather and you learn a little of the life I have led - you'll realize that I could not possibly be unhappy with the GC outcome. I am so glad we are getting together and that the RVmdom is alive and growing. That's enough for me!
Looking back - I started a thread. It grew. Some mutants wanted a website - I said - hey I can do that. Some mutants wanted a Curiosity - I said - hey I can do that in April. Some wanted menus and events - I built a form to create an Itinerary and as a group we grew a plan. We grew a form for menus. We all wanted an identity or logo - sure why not - I have a Stock Photo Account and can get that done. Hey - how about a mug with a logo - sure - why not. Not where I was headed or planning to go. It's where we went together. The journey is and has been the destination. And to me - we have all taken turns driving.
So my fellow mutants - I'm not really doing any of this for me - other than for the diversion of a hobby. Work used to consume me and I was ready for a change. And what a change I found. A whole new group of mutant friends. Friends I have not met - may never meet - or will meet and never see again. Friends that may remain forever virtual. But friends I felt strongly enough about to give of my time and resources - to do the above - to bring us live music on Mardi Gras night. Who knows where our journey together will lead. I'm just trying to have fun and accommodate the RVMdom.
So no worries hear. The GC is a party - a gathering, and I've thrown and attended many gatherings in my day. Some are better than others. Sometimes the police get called sometimes someone gets thrown in the pool... And on and on - but always it's a party - given freely - without expectations - and hopefully suited and well tailored to the liking of the party goers. In this case Muteys - it's a Grande Curiosity of mutants - an event the likes of which have never been see. We are going to have a mutantastic time. Mark my words!
We're another day closer and just remember - this Curiosity's for you! It's what you make of it - not what I make of it or want it to be. Heck it's my vacation - with mutants too - how can I go wrong...

Nope, that would just give her a challenge. She's a veteran sticker remover and her tiny little teeth can get under even the tightest and toughest edge. I have removed some bulbs.

Yes, Jeff the winds were pretty stiff. We had gusts over 50 here but luckily no dust. Had to bring our two deep slides in so the toppers did not take off.
Pics of your trip today?
And it is a grand day here at Pato Blanco
