Now for the serious side. After our return, unloading, and cleaning, Earlene did the roof again. We settled in and I called my friend here in TC wondering what he was up to.

He was up to no good. He had a ladder gong up to his home roof and the ladder slipped. He fell on the driveway cement and cracked his coccyx.

It has been decided that all future cleanings to the roof MH will be done by someone younger and suited for the job, like professional MH washers. I may still do the outside, but the roof will be done differently. At 70+ years of age, it just should not be us anymore. (Uh, er..."her.")

p.s., She's the same one doing the zip-line at GC@CL.

Does anyone but me think Wayne has a roof cleaning fetish? More correctly stated, a watching Earlene clean the roof fetish? How often do the rest of you clean your roof?

Our roof was replaced last year and has yet to be washed, at my age I don't want to be up there. If I fell and broke something I be slow to mend and never ever hear the end of it. You old farts know what I mean. That's what young people are for.

Hear those gears grinding?
That's me thinking! Barb says Sena likes climbing on roofs, so I'm thinking a little traing and we might have a way to earn a little extra Rubi money.

Hey Barb, will Sena work for peanuts or bananas?

Hey! Once a year is not a fetish. Besides, I just have to say, "Well, I guess I'm going to clean the roof," and Earlene says, "Oh no you're not!"

It's the reason I keep my life insurance $$ low.

Well after yesterday I'm beginning to agree with Wayne bout climbing roofs. The last round of high winds and hail took out the antenna on Jenny so I bought a new one but camping world was booked up for a week so I couldn't get it installed. After two days of rain and being penned inside without TV I decided I would venture up and do it myself. So wet roof in between showers like the fool that I am I go up the ladder very cautiously to take off the old and install the new. You know that little sticker at the top of the ladder on the roof that says "CAUTION" ? I payed real close attention to that cause this redneck don't do heights to start with. My neighbors are looking out the window wondering if I lost my mind. So I'm moving right along with the repairs and just as I'm starting back to the ladder it starts poring down rain. I've got the old antenna, tools in hand so I just chunked everything to the ground and cautiously got back off the roof soaking wet by now and saying my prayers "thank you Lord for keeping me safe." Now we know God has a sense of humor. So I'm stand by the coach and putting my tools away and all the sudden bam! I get hit on the head by a flying screw driver I forgot on the roof. I knew what he was telling me so I promise, my roof days are done!

Unfortunately, Sena thinks that once she's out of the RV unleashed it's time to strip. Once I got the MOHO backed out of the garage we had been staying in for 6 months, my first task was to retrieve all the diapers from the roof. My new knees performed admirably for the climb up the back ladder. I found 10 diapers up there along with plenty of what should have been inside one, had she been wearing a diaper.

Yes Tim, Sena does roofs. Cleaning is NOT what she does up there. But unlike Wayne, I let Mother Nature clean off all the, uh "organic matter".

Howdy, neighbor!

Dwayne & Shara, I am relieved to know that y'all are there early because, according to the latest camping layout released last week by Flaggship1, I am camped to your west and immediately to our east are the camps of WayneM and HerbnBarb, or the Notorious Wayne & Herb. It might be prudent of us to build a swale between 104 and 105 to keep (insert word of your choosing here) from spilling over into our camps. What do you think?

Keep me posted and I trust you enjoyed your dip in the river. (They have hot showers in Arkansas now? I didn't know that ...)

Hold down the fort.

Yes they have bath houses that you can go and take a bath or shower in the hot springs and if you have pain like us it helps. I don't know if it's the minerals or what but it helps with the pain. Glad to see Y'all are good

By the time you get here... the rains and wind from going over 55mph will have cleaned your roof off substantially, if not... we'll get Mark, DS#4, to climb up there and wash it! It will improve your solar energy output. ( He needs to do a good deed from time to time...)
Btw... DH has asked me... Honey, haven't you watched enough movies in your lifetime to know what's going to happen if an RV with a monkey living in it comes to visit your house? Apparently not....LOL!
