On news this morning, man finds 6.2 ct diamond at Crater of Diamonds State Park. Last time I talked to Dwayne he was headed to the park! Dwayne was that you?
The 2.89ct found just a week ago sold for $20,000.
Just something unique only found in Arkansas.
Boy are my hands sore, having to sweep the roads off so those Texsans can find their way to CL. Hope they pick up any droppings from their wagon train/cattle drive.
Jealous of those that have started their Journey toward the Destination regardless if its CL or elsewhere!

The next GC location could be like trying to be selected for the Olympics!
We can hire our own lobbyists and advertising firms etc. Maybe I can get the guys from Mad Men?
But, such decisions are mostly for those that are not F/T. Shucks. I really wanted a 1960s fedora. (Sigh)

Don - FYI - in Texas being referred to as All Hat and No Cattle is less than a compliment. As a winter Texan you are now allowed the occasional Texas Tall Tale. You have have left your cattle back at the ranch to watch over your oil wells. We all have a parcel a land with a few hundred head and an rig or two going - several pump jacks idle and few in operation dontcha know.

The idea being to make a slide show of still pics and run video through the projector on the last night. That way we can all share in the various mutations whether we were there or not. Like when Mary Ann and Annie out fish the two Steve's I can edit their fish onto our rods!! I have already warned the guide about this LOL.

It would have to be a cold day in "Hmmmm" for Mary Ann to out fish me so I'm keeping my eye on the weather forecasts for CL to see if I have to eat these words.
Mary Ann will solicit the aid of the guide, but has stated that she won't need his help. She says that I'm too cocky about my fishing abilities. I'm just keep my trusty pocket knife handy for when she hooks a big one.
We are in the middle of prepin' for the chefin'. Our little RV refrigerator won't hold everything so we're taking 2 coolers and doing part of our shopping in HP on the 3rd or 4th day.
I have constructed extra "gluten free" banners for the buffet table. They should be reusable from one meal to the next.
Now I need to call the repair shop to make sure "Coach" will be ready to roll.

Today is making my lists and checking them twice day so I can make a grocery list. Have to get through Easter family get together first before I shop for the GC@CL although, I have bought some green beans to make cultured dilly beans for the bloody mary's.....have to get on that today or they won't be ready in time. Thinking I might want to make more bloody mary Kombucha also... I like it as it tastes like summer to me!

FYI, in the Queen's English, the expression is "All mouth and trousers". It took me a while (ok, a very long while) to figure out it was short for "All mouth and NO trousers." A much more apropos image.
Cheers!

Very special indeed, and we would enjoy sharing the vistas with you and Nola. Just about anywhere on or under or in the vicinity of the rainbow.
Oh it's just toot suite! Shugga, Shugga! C'mon GC! It's only a week away! Yikes!
Cheers!

Bob says..." I just talked to Clint, the hose to the oil pressure gauge is leaking, he will replace it. He is also checking on the tires."
Woot! sounds like the part that will hurt the worst is the tires! I think my son could have fixed that had he not been so busy... oh well, would of had to pay him too! ( just not mechanic's wages...but even those boys must buy shoes for their little ones...)

The mouse rib-vertebrae mutation is a hypomorphic Tbx6 allele.
Watabe-Rudolph M1, Schlautmann N, Papaioannou VE, Gossler A.
Author information
Abstract
Rib-vertebrae (rv) is an autosomal recessive mutation in mouse that affects somite formation, morphology, and patterning. Expression of Notch pathway components is affected in the paraxial mesoderm of rv mutant embryos, and rv and a null allele of the Notch ligand delta1 show non-allelic non-complementation. By fine genetic mapping and complementation testing we have identified Tbx6, a gene essential for paraxial mesoderm formation, as the gene mutated in rv.
Now ant that sumpten. Always wondered about them Rv mutant embryos!
