Very interesting.... Larry just paid 500 for root canal, and that is with dental insurance...... We will know who to call for names.....
Diane is retired and lazy........ So please excuse the fat lazy finger slides.....

Dental adventures in Mexico, Day 3
I'm back from the dentist. Today I got to see the head honcho, Dr Iniguez. Friday's consultation was with his associate, Dr Mendoza.
The first thing Dr Iniguez did was to tell me he was going to reduce my cost by $500 for coming in the off season. So for a total of $5,800 I'm getting 16 porcelain over metal crowns, 12 anterior porcelain crowns, 1 root canal with Fiberglas post (so they can correct the crowded lower front teeth) and a night guard.
Today he prepped the upper teeth and took impressions. I go back tomorrow for the same on the lower teeth. I'm so glad he didn't do all 28 today. I still can't drink without slobbering. Trying to eat was a comedy. I decided I can wait until later to satisfy my hunger. I'm only willing to wear just so much food.

I did too. I put finger marks in their arm rests, until I realized they were doing me nothing but good. Now I just try to nod off and tell them to wake up me when their done. Try that through implants. lol

I look forward to seeing you grin, Barb! I had a much improved smile with just the temporaries. Kind of like
After the prep, I drank some soup, bit my tongue, and wore much of it. Breakfast was huge the next morning!

Ya know Barb, when you were over here for our Mini-C, I didn't even noticed you had any teeth. Seriously, I didn't go looking looking, but I don't recall seeing them. Maybe you got in the habit of not smiling so people wouldn't see them. When I was working, a co-worker used to alway put his hand in front of his mouth because when he was younger, he had bad teeth. Got to be a habit.

Unbelievable, Barb. My hubby has a mouthful of porcelain crowns that took several months and ten times what you are paying. Glad it's going well for you.
