I'm a sucker for science and went looking for info. I SO wanted it to be real.

Too good to be real, hey? Gorgeous, nonetheless. Thanks, both of you!

Cheers!

yeah... I read something like that about jeans too, only they suggested dusting them baby powder, shaking them out and keep on wearing them....

Lily comes back from the beach clean. Sand, once it has dried and fallen out is even better than cornstarch.

A friend who lives near Vegas just emailed me asking if I wanted to go see Frankie Valli perform on Saturday night. My first reaction was, "Is he still alive?"

He is, and still performing at age 80. He must not be an RVer. Otherwise he'd have figured out retirement is a LOT more fun than w**king.

Barb - so glad the news from the PNW is positive. It's sounds like it will be a long row to hoe and we'll keep the Ommms headed their way.

I'm having a hard time keeping up these days! LOL!!

Thanks to all for noting the 4+ months smoke free.

Barb - the 4 Seasons - Frankie V especially were very lucky. Musicians - singers in particular are gifted - and I don't imagine the "work" is that bad. Especially if you're an adult. Young rockers probably make it harder than it needs to be. But it must be nice to Play the Guitar on the MTV... That's the way ya do it....

Doggies and TP and Toilet Lids - Oh My
--------
Tornados and Rainbows and warm winter mittens - fuzzy fur faces with wet noses and purring kittens - these are a few of my favorite things...
---------
Bob - get some 50 amp in there!
---------
Wayne - you keep telling yourself it's 70+ wpm...
The thing of it is---- is --- the words need to be arranged in a manner that make sense....
---------
Dog - is momma happy? That's the thing that matters right?
---------
Marty - I for one am looking forward to garden pictures a little later in the growing season!
---------
Judy - keep us informed on your relocation efforts - I will be having the temps list you as a source for Morels in the RV Mutant Cookbook. And - we need to know where to stop for dinner!
----------
Our two new bloggers have been quiet -
Crowded and Diva - y'all will fall behind if ya don't check in - and we'll talk about ya like family!

It's all good in the RVMdom!

Could Use A Prayer

Well, I thought I would put the request out for a prayer for my Mom.

If you recall, she had a triple bypass last November as well as 1/2 a lung removed due to cancer. She is 83.
She was taken into Emergency the other day. Her heart is failing and it appears, so is her liver. Tests are showing her liver may be cancerous and is enlarged and enflamed. Her heart condition is one, they feel, can be made better through medication. The liver...we don't know yet.

Although she made it through the last operation, it was not without complication and the concern is whether or not she is in any condition to undergo another to deal with the liver.

Hopefully today, she will get an ultrasound to help determine her true condition.

They have assessed her and said that no matter what, she will not be returning to her home. If she makes it through this round, it will mean a care facility.

I fly out tomorrow to see her.

Her name is Theresa and a mention in your prayers would be appreciated.
