Welcome to the madness GlassAlley!! I'm also a solo female RVer and have been fulltime for 3 years and 2 weeks.
My sympathy goes out to you for still being shackled by w**k. How soon will you break the chains and go full time?
We'd love to know more about you -- your first name, approximent location, the type of RV you have, your SSN, mother's maiden name, credit card number... Oops, I got a little carried away, sorry.
You'll find this group to be like friends you've known forever in no time at all. A bunch of us met in Arkansas in late April and it was like finding 40+ lost siblings.
So please feel free to share. What is the GlassAlley story?

Funny, you know, when Martin met you, he thought you were just a regular guy. Little did he know!!! I keep trying to warn...I mean tell...him!

Yeah! A post without an SFM move.
Edited: Larry, buy Diane a ruby, or better yet a diamond. (Now am I on your good side Diane?)

Steve, you can call the TOAD "Crappy Road Vehicle," or just "Crappy" for short. I figure someone needs to start a name calling for you new chariot.

Glassalley comes from when we had a stained glass studio and not all streets were named and had to have names to be in compliance with the 911 system. The alley by our studio was not named. They wouldn't name it glass alley, but did name it glass lane. This was in rural southwest Virginia. We relocated back to Northern Virginia. Matilda is kept at our lot on Indian Acres Campground in Thornburg, VA. That is south of Fredericksburg.
Thanks for all the warm welcome.
My signature has everything, but my name.
Betsy

Well hey! Betsy, it's lovely to have you with us, even though you've been through some very rough months to get here. You seem to be one tough cookie, if you don't mind my saying so, to pick up and carry on the dream. It's really a tribute to your DH, too, that you would carry your shared dream forward.
The rainbow is a beautiful place to be, with a family who cares about each other and understands the journey.
Watch out for that Wayne, though. He's a tricky one, he is, and even has his own theme song.
On with the motley, as the Brits say, and welcome to the rainbow!
Cheers!
Sue

Just for fun, and because it's so apropos, here's a quote I took from an online newsletter called "The Gypsy Journal":
"The world is a book and those who do not travel read only one page."
Isn't that perfect? The daily online version chronicles daily life as working full-timers. The newsletter is written and published by Nick and Terry Russell, and available both digitally and as paper once a month. It is full of articles about places they've been, the roads and experiences, and tips for RVers.
Wish I got a commission!
Cheers!
Sue

Hark! Do I hear rumblings of another Mini-C about to happen? Whoopee! (There's a new vocabulary word for you, Betsy: a mini- curiosity is a small meeting up of mutants.)
Cheers!
Sue
And BTW: What's become of Don and Sandee? They're hitting the road within a week already and we haven't heard back from them!

Hi! Betsy, good to know more about ya, thanks. Although I am disappointed that you are on the East Coast. I happen to be on the west coast, southern WA, now and until mid September when I'll head to Florida for the winter.
Let us know where you'll be traveling and you might stumble across one or two of us. But we're always as close as your mutated electronic communication device, aka computer.

I just talked to Linda. She is having a get together of Mike's friends in lieu of a formal service for Mike, Sunday June 8th 12-5pm at his house in Phoenix. If any RVMs would like to attend PM me for the address.
BTW, Linda is still at the very busy and no time yet to grieve stage. I let her know that we were all thinking about her. She said she appreciates that all the folks were important to Mike are now concerned about her. I told her we knew that's what Mike would want us all to do.

Now that's a good ponder, guess I'll have to mull that over.
I got it! While dealing on a Rubi I'll make them include new T-shirts for all the IWARP membership! New Rubi with new IHARP t-shirts! Man will I be special or what? (That's a rhetorical question, not to be answered)
