R U an RV Mutant too?
Here at Dutch Cousins
http://www.dutchcousin.com
we have an everyday serenade from one cow next door at about 7 PM each evening.
It is an ah-cow-pella wonder, in full bovine voice. Kind of a joyous "HONK HONK HONK" as if in cadence to "Fire on the Mountain" by the GD.
Each time, I bound over to the fence to see the provider of the tune, but by then they all are like this with a look of "What?". "S'not me!"

BTW, Linda is still at the very busy and no time yet to grieve stage. I let her know that we were all thinking about her. She said she appreciates that all the folks were important to Mike are now concerned about her. I told her we knew that's what Mike would want us all to do.

Absolutely, we are thinking of her, and saddened by her loss, as much as our own. I hope she stays busy.

As I start to formalize - and actually take steps toward retiring, I can't help but look back on the past 27 years. Those are the years with the same employer. There were the two years of contract employment with them before that. Then there were the 4+ years of higher education and some interim work and the military years.
But for the bulk of the time - the 27 + 2 + 4+ there was a lot of Economics involved. And the word actually worked it's way into my diploma and business cards and so on.
I know many of you may not understand economics - or think that it's useful or even logical or worth knowing about. But in a few short minutes - this will tell you all you need to know about the field of study that confounded my life....
Please enjoy. I have on many occasions as a reminder and primer.

Oh, blah, blah, blah!
I kept falling asleep in the adult Econ. course I took, so finally dropped it. I tried, really!
Cheers, and thank you for an evening laugh or three!

Finally the distinction between Micro and Macro Economists!
I was a Macro Micro Economist (wrong on various levels) for about 5 years - doing regional economics on 27 metro areas and 10 states -building and running econometric models. That was a long time ago, mercifully!
