Diane is the original SFM........... ( Sliding Finger Mutant, #64) and is retired, duh!

BIL has a 2-person yak with a pedal rudder, like an airplane. Pretty fast with 2 paddlers and very maneuverable. We did many miles with it, but never white water. Did some big waves on Lake Superior though (WITH the wind).

Wish me bum would let me sit in one now. Yikes!

Harry Lauder's Walking Stick -- it's a shrub like tree that grows oddly bent branches. Sorta mutant

I found these pictures of the walking stick trees, are these the ones you are going to plant? They look so twisty, I may check out planting one at our new house.

We were welcomed back to Ohio tonight when we came home. It finally rained hard enough with the wind to leak into the west facing slide. It was much but enough to make me worry. These darn slide toppers are also bowing with the water.. Yuck.
Anyway, everything else is good, I'm starting to feel better,, Debbie is fabulous as usual, we've got to see all the kids, grandkids and the in-laws. Lots more people to see. Lots more places to go.

Mike would approve, I think. Thanks for the pictures!

R U an RV Mutant too?

Dave and Deb, welcomes are great, spoiling Grands is even better.
Glad you are feeling better, Dave! Deb is only awesome, as usual.
Hope your slide issues are easy. My slide toppers all need to be swapped before long. :-(

Barb, Mike would approve, no doubt about it. STM. A bit gnarled. Yep!

Other than the night when the Edmund Fitzgerald went down I have never seen rain anything like the downpour we experienced driving between Columbus and Dayton what back when. I never want to see that again.

After this post, only need 17 more. Surely, if Wayne & Steve get started, we'll go way beyond Dave's 17,000!!!!!!!

Ya should have been at the GC @ CL - that storm would have left Gordon Lightfoot speechless -

and the legend lives on from the rainbow on down to the big lake they call Ouchita. The good mutants missed you as the winds and rains blew through the GC at Catherines Landing....
