I didn't mess with your 17,000, I was 17,001, just a little better than 17,000.

Anyone notice the news streamer on Yahoo this morning about the Elio car prototype? I think I've read the article before, but the video is new. Estimated price is $6800, but somebody is dreaming. After all the "requirements" are met to get it approved for marketing, the price will go up. Also, just look at the crash test results ... uh ... hmmm ... they didn't mention that, now that I think about it.

The sales pitch was leaning to touting this as a motorcycle, and of course some states charge less for the licenses. But also may require helmets if a motorcycle tag is on it. Just a thought.

The gal that took it for a parking lot test drive didn't bother to use a seat belt. Does it have 'em?

Rambling with some thinking here. How long will it be before people want more "fun" and turbocharge that little pusher motor?

I'll do direct deposit. Send me your bank account number. Or I could just go to my rich friend in Nigeria and get it. He promised to send me some money, so I know I'm up tight with him.

Publishers Clearing House said I might be a winner, so there is more loot I'm about to rake in.

Cindy,

Harry Lauder's Walking Stick won't survive in Mesa. It is a zone 3-8 plant and Mesa is zone 10. It would grow in Misouri. I ordered mine from a nursery in Oklahoma. Welcome to Sooner Plant Farm

The little Saguro cactus in your front yard reminds me of Mike. That's what I would plant if it would grow here, but they won't.

I wonder if a small local timed watering system would overcome the zone problem?

Are any of you Jeep people familiar with changing out the A/C pump clutch on a Grand Cherokee. My pump works great but every time I want to use the air conditioning I have to bump start the clutch inner assembly with a stick. It refuses to start unless bumped and then it will work normal the rest of the day. I'm told the clutch is a hard deal to change out and all I see on it is a 10MM bolt and three rivets? How hard can that be eh?

Barb, it is press fit on the shaft, so you will need a puller to get it off.

I have mentioned that my favorite tv show is "The Chew" on ABC. I actually record it each day, until I can watch it. I considered myself a good cook before watching, but now am more adventureous in what and how I cook.

Today there was an actress now baker and cookbook author on the show, she has celiacs desease. Thought of our GLUTEN free Mutants..... She made an egg free, gluten free, banana french toast.... Her bread is gluten free toooooooo
