Wayne, are you sure it wasn't Camping World that you took it to? A few years ago, I took our MH to Camping World to have them work on the HW heater. After picking it up, something told me to check the connections, to make sure that the water's connection was turned back on. To my surprise, I found the hoses running to the heater were disconnected. If we had turned the water pump on, the bedroom would have been flooded.

The Whoop Whoop was not a happy camper when it didn't work, and no Whoop Whoop of happiness when I found out what was wrong - read my other post, other thread. The fist and logical reaction is to panic and get PO'd - but experience should kick in and tell ya - sit down - cool off - relax and think a minute. Remember my refrigerator last summer - I told the guy working on it - "I'm going on vacation - close er up - we're leaving. There will be a mobil guy where we're going who knows what he's doing." Apparently most of the problem was his wimpy extension cord and weak 120 cause we've been good ever since.

I've found CW does not have a lock on morons. There are independents and pros out there that I wonder how they find their way to work. See my post on refrigerator. And I know there is still an issue in that the baffle is positioned in a way that nearly defeats the two stock fans - and the 2 fans I had the guy add are not positioned correctly either. And all of this was done by a guy on the David Force List of folks who install Amish unit's in DFW area.

I just thought about this......we need to have a GC just so we can hire & pay Dwayne to fix all of our problems.

Anyone know what this is located on the bottom of the A Frame?
The other side of the coach has the same setup but the wheel is on the right hand side.

There's also a couple of shock absorber look-a-like thing-a-mes hooked to a duplicate of the steering arm.

To answer Cindy's question and to make lots of you jealous -- it has been beautiful here in southern Washington for the last 2 weeks. Sunny everyday, high in the mid to upper 60s with a bit of a breeze on the river. Nights cool down to the mid 50s. It has just clouded up here with scattered showers predicted for this afternoon.

It looks like a steering assist that should help keep steering stable and also help keep wheels more controllable in case of a blow out.

Thanks Don, I was hoping that was what it was. Been spending some time under the coach greasing, oiling and checking things out and these kind of intrigued me.

Are you talking about the steering stabilizer spring? I used four of those on porch swing chains.

Otherwise the only other "strange thing" is the bottle jack. I assume you are about to replace shock absorbers, yes? That and put more grease into the ball joints. Grease em until they heap up a pile on the ground. 😬

I will no longer believe any lube place has done what I asked be done. The unit was supposed to have had a grease job and oil change and I know they begrudgingly reimbursed me for the oil filter they didn't change as I proved to them they didn't. When I do things like oil changes I habitually mark dates on things with an indelible marker and the oil filter had the date on it from last fall. I now wonder if they added the Lucas Oil additive that I supplied.

I'm taking these pictures showing no new grease to the manager and ask for my money back there too.
