Awning fixed, toilet fixed, slide fixed now wheel bearing fixed so what more can I spend money on? Oh I know, when I went to pick it up at shop today, battery dead. Seems the chassis battery's are the originals and long over due to be replaced. Did I mention how much I like to spend money?

Cell phones are great social separators. You can set a phone up to ring on selected numbers, and all others roll over to voice mail to get a message: "Leave your name and number. Don't bother me with a message. I'll return your call if I think you are important enough." Beep .....

Smart Aleck! I've not been to your apt to know that, but today's cars don't produce a lot of CO. A good way to kill gophers and moles is to hook a hose to your tailpipe and stick the other end into a recently dug tunnel opening. BUT!!! You have to find a vehicle without a catalytic converter for it to work. An old farmer taught me that trick when I wasn't so old, but after cars started having catalytic converters installed.

So ends today's lesson.

We haven't left yet. Saturday morning the sea parts for our first family exploit in the Beaver. Mort is already in tha coach waiting with baited breath for our departure.

Everything from the Dynasty fit into the Beaver with a couple of sq.ft. to spare. I was surprised.

Sorry to hear you and your bride to be aren't feeling well. There has been more than enough health and family issues befalling the Mutants of late. It would be nice to read some clear sailing on all counts for us all!

Big diesel bus is a super gopher smoker outer. Handles mosquitoes too.

Barb, I know people in this group, besides me, that don't have to hook the hose up to an exhaust pipe, they just have to put the hose in the ground and blow through it.

Morning Mutey Family. Looks like today might get to be the day I finally get the beans and squashes planted! Had such a bumper crop of weeds when I got home from my week at girls camp and then it rained and rained and watered them so well, I couldn't get the tiller in to turn them all under so i covered them all with spoiled hay hoping to smother them....so we shall see how that goes this year! If I don't get them in now, they won't mature in time before the frost kills them. Dunner... the lemon drop melons are going in today and I'll be thinking of you!

I had mice getting into my cabinets and couldn't find the entry spot. I placed one of those electronic vermin deterrents on the ground beneath the center of the coach and they aren't bothering us now.

I did have to screw it to a board so it's too heavy for Sena to carry off. I added a short piece of rope to the board for retrieval purposes. Now I just stand on the end of the rope and sorta toss/slide the board under the coach.

Lily could hear the mice at night and would wake us up trying to get them. Terriers were bred to catch vermin and she knows to get them instinctually. Her other annoying 4 am habit is to poop (on the puppy pad) then wake me up so I can smell it and go pick it up. How do I change that habit?
