Herb - so fill us in when you know more about the emission system. The what and why etc of it. Disconcerting to be sure.
Still - looks like you may stay on schedule. The silver lining....

I thought it was unbelievable. That bird cut even strips, knew where to tuck them in so they would mimic feathers, and then walked off when she was satisfied. Nope, you don't teach that kind of reasoning. Bird brains may be smarter than we give them credit for.
I do wonder how many times she repeated the process when the paper feathers fell out.

Thanks for humoring me Sue. I watched 3 or 4 times.
And - yes RIP little nipper... Holding then under running water usually gets em to release - but that's a little late in the game.

Some of us don't click on YouTube links unless we know what they lead to and how long they are. I'll watch a 2-3 minute video if it's REALLY amazing, but I wait for someone to tell me.

The video is one minute and forty seconds. And I doubt you have ever seen such a thing - but that does not mean you will find it amazing.

Herb, sorry to hear about all the troubles...as Diane said, stay away from CW unless you're a glutant for punishment. As for Cummins, it's hit or miss with them. I took the MH into them for 2 years about the engine overheating. Always came back telling me that they could not find any fault codes. Well, once it was out of warranty, the problem was found, to the tune of $2600.00 out of my pocket. Plus, the same shop replaced the Inverter in my Generator, under warranty, but would only put in a rebuilt one. Well, that lasted 1 1/2 years before it went bad. When I told them to put a rebuilt one in, I was told that they CANNOT sell rebuilt ones to consumers.
However, on the other hand, whenwe were travelling to the West Coast last year, kept getting a CHECK ENGINE light. Went to a Cummins in Utah[?] and one of the Turbo Wires had rubbed against something & burnt the wire up. They had the part over nighted & after the Cummins $100.00 deductable, we were on our way the next morning. They even ran a 50amp extension to the outside, so that we didn't have to run the generator.
Anyway, hope you'll be able to make Florida by the day you had planned to be there. Best of luck.

Ok, the bird video was worth 1:39 of data. Pretty smart and very busy little guy. I decided that must be a male bird. Most female birds are less colorful, aka less vain, so they don't attract preditor attention to the nest. Thanks Steve and Marty.
