Welcome xctraveler - Glad to have another NYer join our group
As you can see, we are quite an interesting bunch of STMs....
Been mutating the last 2 weeks in the middle of the Adirondacks doing a fair bit of kayaking -- Unfortunately the bills need to be paid so back to w*#k on Monday
Always lurking.......

Our new Cherokee IS comfortable! (Especially compared to the Wrangler.) We also let it park itself for us today ... a weird experience, but very efficient. Odd thing: it can't do that in a big empty car park. It has to see a gap between 2 cars in order to park.
Jeep wars? What Jeep wars?

Ha! I agree Sue. Jeeps are fine vehicles for people who need such things. We don't and won't need 1 90 to 98% of the time. We will rent one the 2-10% of the time we do. But there really are no Jeep wars that I know of. DAVE said his DIL complained of leg room. I saw that too... I found the Unlimited too much of a climb in and bail out for a daily driver and the Trail hawk to a more expensive tie with the CRV - that's not a war - it's a choice and my opinion. But if all colors were the same, there would be no rainbow!!

I had a Jeep once, many years back. Had a driver too. Jeep rode ... well, sort of like a log wagon, but sure was better than walking. Notice the easy entry doors? That was a standard feature, along with natural air conditioning. Not much choice of paint colors though.

At the DMV to get the plates renewed. They unfortunately lapsed during DH losing battle with cancer. Taking Matilda out for the first time Thursday. Not going too far. Heading to Pocahontas State Park. My nephew is going to meet me if I need the assistance. He gave me a lesson last weekend. I get to practice some more when I take her to the RV dealer for some minor things.
