My first (and only) encounter to squirrel to be served on a plate was back in the fall of 1973 near Rogers. I passed the platter without taking any. They are a fuzzy tailed rats in my book!

Now, RVMs, I must proclaim an oddity. It is nice today in Pee Aye!
Looks good for the next 3 days (open windows;YAY!) before we return to the hot/humid, mid-summer nasties.

In AZ or NM or NV, as we follow the temps thru the winter, we pretty much get up each morning and say, "Oh rats, another beautiful day!"

We launch from here on 8/1. 😄👏👍
Dave and Nola, Earlene and I think you for the normal air conditioning. Got up this morning and opened the windows to let the cool air in. Much appreciated after traviling and all previous stops were in the high 80's to mid 90's. I'll holler at you for the mini-mini-c.

Yep! Must say that the Mary Land people know how to train their ground hogs, and provide for them. The golf courses don't like them.

Taste like chicken. Remember that the next time you get chicken.

We saw a strange thing yesterday. We were out riding around and as usual here in the Amish countryside there are horses and buggies. We saw a horse and buggie pulled over on the side of the road. Apparently the horse was "misbehaving" because the not so gentleman in the straw hat was standing on the road, gripping the rein and slapping the horse across the snout.

Not a sight I'd like to see again.

Hey, maybe a bigger mini-C

The PA Dutch seem to put wheat (gluten) in most everything. I am gluten intolerant.
Two safe places near you:
Olive Garden
910 Plaza Blvd, Lancaster, PA
or
Red Robin.
2350 Lincoln Hwy E, Lancaster, PA 17603

About 4:30 on Friday?

Hope the meat didn't still have it's fuzzy tail attached! That'd put a person off, I should think.

We ate squirrel, rabbit and pheasant when I was growing up. Daddy had grown up hunting with his dad and brothers, adding "free" food to their diets, so it came naturally.

We had to chew carefully when we ate game and be careful of buckshot. Little lead pellets were dangerous to one's teeth, and were not to be swallowed either. Somehow this has all become a fond memory.

Cheers!
Sue

Hmmm! I wonder how that would go with the LEO's around here.

"Sorry sir, I saw him beating his horse and just couldn't resist to show the horse some respect."

Hmmm!

Hi All;

Hope you're all having a good summer so far!
I am back at work; all my animal clients have missed me!!

I ran across these articles today and thought I'd share in case anyone is interested:

Pet Owner Alert! - Insect Repellents » Dr. Alfred Plechner

Chemical Insect Repellents » Dr. Alfred Plechner

They speak directly to the conversation we had regarding this a month ago.

BTW, I've learned that there's a correlation with the blindness that my oldest Shih Tzu is now experiencing is related to the Ivermectin in the monthly heart worm meds she was taking.

Ya know...it is all part of the adventure. The rainbow is cool but sometimes it takes a thunderstorm to make a really cool one. looking forward to visiting again. I'm not an invalid. LOL
