RV Geeks has a video on that. I would open the top of the husk to check for silk worms, though.

Now Sarah, that just adds a little meat to the corn.
In all my life I have never seen a silkworm on corn. Must be some good farmers.

You eat GM corn with pesticides built into the seed - we all do - unless we are careful. Buy local..
