Still... 91 degrees and 45% humidity isn't much of a prize....
Heck it's 93 and 48% here in Plano - and I'm pretty sure I just saw Dante run by with his hair on fire and the hounds of hades on his trail...

Spent the day touring around Isle D'Orleans in the St. Lawrence River just east of Quebec City. Totally pastoral, tiny villages, vineyards, cheese shops, bakeries, chocolatieres, etc. I did take pix but not with my I-pad so not currently available. I include a few from the internet for reference!
First, a museum in a house from the 1700s.

Looks Lovely Tina... I want to go to Canada some day and see it, I've seen most of the US...our parents threw us in the back of our old station wagon when I was young... they would put the seat down and there was a foam 'bed' we girls would lie there, eat ice cubes, and read or sleep while dad drove... then we'd all pile out, see the sites and pester for them to find someplace where we could swim. We saw a lot in those 2 week vacations every summer.

Ours was a 57 Plymouth Station wagon - push button automatic... whoot whoot!

So was talking to Barb a minute ago - and mentioned it was getting harder to work. She said - are you counting days. Long story short - the internet counts for me

85 days until retirement...

I had a "days left" app on my tablet, but I kept changing the date so often that I had to disable the app. My retirement date did finally arrive last year, and it is great.
Did I tell you my boss had to do my job, of renewing the tags on all 3 fleets this year and he quit. He called me to come in for a contract job to do it, but I was out of state so he had to deal with it. And he gave them 2 weeks notice as soon as he finished the third company's license plates.
I felt pretty good about myself when he told me.
In Colorado, every piece of equipment from generator to giant track hoe, to fusing machine or compressor, has to be registered and tagged every year. And they have to have emission test on all the trucks before they will issue renewals on them.
