In any case the news is awesome!!! The unicorn just passed your way!
Our Bella won't be paid off until we are in our 90s. I'm not sure I care, but everyone's situation is unique. I'm really happy for you and Annie!
Cheers!

Where is Instant Reply when you really need it???
Photo finishes are always hard to determine....luckily in drag racing we have electronic timers to determine fur sure who crossed the finish line first.
SOOOO much excitement!!! Congrats Steve and Diane...you're both winners in my book....hope the GP can decide how to split that Unicorn Rainbow...Maybe Les can help......seems like he has some experience from his post.
I will be back later to check up on the........monkey business
Right now my JD 317 is calling my name......time to get the weeds the same height.....after all it's National Nite Out.....don't want the neighbors thinkin' I'm one of THEM neighbors.

Di - I know lots of folks who dont like numbers. Annie is one of them - and we all know how I feel about her!! But me - I love numbers - they gave me a way to make a living and put us on the rainbow. One of my favorite numbers is 0.00. I especially like it when it is preceded by Pay Off Amount or Balance due.... I have suffered a few financial setbacks in my life - I have lived leveraged and lived owing nothing to anyone. I highly recommend the latter.
Way back in post #1 I wrote about not carrying debt due to needing the space to carry other things. but it is also part of my philosophy of simplification. No debt - no bills to pay. 😎

Congrats Steve!
Well, ya'll did it when I went off to go do my critter care dogs today... so I missed the actual moment, but that's the cool thing about all the posts being in a line and scrolling through, you get to live the moment whenever you read it!

Hmmmm ... so I return to see ... vote rigging, chicanery, pay offs, numbers counting, black dresses, last wishes from grannie, and references to horse racing.
There must be some magic in that mix. Where was I during the fracas? Out slaving away in the brutal sunshine, getting the chariot ready for a rainbow ride. Anybody ever recharge basement air conditioners in a bus? The effort was largely a failure because I'm too large to fit into the same location with three air conditioners and still have room to move my arms.
Might be time to call for professional help. A very small skinny professional !!

Merlin - small, skinny professionals make my life possible... I especially like the ones that climb on top of the motor home to service air conditioners - common theme.

Uh Oh....
It's getting too real... packing supplies... and Annie has beaten a bath to dumpster - times a flyin'.

Don't you know smoke follows beauty? Breath deeply and know you are gorgeous! Do you really need Dish? What about the cool things outside?
Last time I went camping (in a tent mind you) I watched an ant war (reds vs black/red) and developed a new respect for bald face hornets (they attack and kill yellow jacket wasps, which I hate with a passion.) Way more exciting and real than most of the "entertainment" on tv these days.

Words cannot express the sorrow I'm feeling, the thought that a life saving jester was done just so Steve could zero in on the golden post is preposterous. Im so sorry Diane that you won, then you didn't, and I for one know all the glory that goes with such a post. But the things a young boy will do to help his poor sick Granny are limitless.
Granny was so close, so close to making parole, and I making that 20k post would have paid for a crooked lawyer and set her free.
Yes I did delete a post, but it wasn't for Steve, it wasn't for Tim, it was for Granny!
