The rivalry 'tween the services is life long. I will say that even though the Marines and Sailors have been battling wits since it all began, when the chips were down we would stand back to back with them and take on any adversary that came around.

When we saw the extended pinky, we took it as a salute to our ability to burp in unison or in four-part harmony.

And we were happy to do our part as well. Especially the part where the soft serve ice cream was involved. 😎

The differences are startling.
When the Navy secures a building, they turn out the lights and lock the hatches.
When the Army secures a building, they post sentries and check I.D. cards.
When the Marines secure a building, they call in air strikes and assault through the objective using fire and close combat.
When the Air Force secures a building, they get a 4 year lease with the option for 4 more years.

Who knew?
The Kia Soul was actually designed based on a the Imperial Storm Trooper helmet.
And when the Death Star exploded, it was actually an edited clip of when Darth Vader hit a home run.

My friend Bill was kind enough to follow me to Freightliner today. Dropped Bonita off for state inspection (last one of those since SD doesn't require one) and having the multi-point once over while there.

One of our birds is B I R D M A N! When he came into the rescue they tried to name him Eli. That was a definite no go. He knows his name...and the song.

Thanks! I will try to get to the mail store Saturday - but it will be a tight schedule. Have to pick Bonita up by noon (assuming they find Bo reason to keep her...)
PM me your digits. Lol...

That sounds like little kids. They can beat up on their siblings all day, but if someone outside the family threatens one, they fight together against the new threat. I think the rule is "I'm the only one who can beat on my brother".
