Engine reported a high exhaust temp - but no explanation as to why. After a restart, all was well. Just weird.

Does introducing a Senator when I was in College count?

Actually "HSV" is the 3 letter Airport Code for Huntsville, AL - "Bama" of course is a nickname for Alabama and Bob, well, that's moi (ergo HSV Bama Bob

Clear as mud now right?

We were posted to Germany 2008-2012 and I had my right knee replaced at the Sindelfingen Orthopedic Hospital (supposedly the best in Germany). My Dr, who was also a Professor at the Medical University nearby was always chiding me about the "Crazy Americans" who insisted on having both knees done at once (the "German" way is do one, wait a year, do the other - and you KNOW how regimented the Germans are LOL!!)

Anyway, my Knee replacement and rehab was so very different from the USA that I can understand why the Germans think that way!!

Fortunately, I only needed the Right one done....so it's been 6 months, how are you doing?!

Posted to Germany? Tell us more bout what you are?

Valdez, Alaska 2013 . . . . . one road in and same road out . . . . bacon was $9.99 a pound at a Safeway. That was before the price spike in the lower 48. We bought 2 pounds. Can't be choosy when it comes to bacon. A watermelon the size of a mushmellow was also $9.99.

Morning Steve. Morning Mary Ann!! I showed some old work friends the picture of Mary Ann and Annie with their fish the other night at dinner. I had not seen some of them in quite a while. They were amazed at the size of me and you Steve - and the fish too...

LoL... what a great time we had. And Ole John T Hall was a great guy and guide too! Would do that again in a heartbeat!!

On both of the cruises we have been on (Carnival & Norwegian) breakfast buffets have MOUNTAINS of bacon - and if it is not cooked to your liking (I must have crispy bacon!) The waiter will happily take a mound or two back to the kitchen and have it properly prepared for you (and she did not even bat a eye when I handed her a plat with @ 14 strips of bacon on it LOL - that was when I was in my Atkins phase )
