And we're sorry to inform you but your insurance company had informed us that you free period had ended. Please remit to Plano for now - our SD address will be effective Nov 1st.

but every Mutant knows it doesn't take a brain surgeon to be a rocket scientist. 😀

Storied past Air Force Vet (Combat Controller), got smart and decided I did not want to make a career of jumping outta airplanes and telling pilots where to drop their bombs so I got out, went to the University of Georgia (how BOUT them DAWGS!) Somehow or another wound up with a PhD in Psychology/Research/Applied Statistics Worked as director of research at the medical center of Central GA for 2 years then the Army recruited me for Human Factors research. Went to White Sands NM for 2 years then they selected me to go to Germany for 4 years, came back to White Sands, and be can doing research into missile launch systems. US Army Space and Missile Defense Command (SMDC) stole me from White Sands in 2004 and in 2008 US Africa Command (Based in Stuttgart Germany) "Borrowed" me from SMDC until 2012. Back at SMDC now designing satellite systems and other space junk <G> Or at least I will until the end of 2016 then it is retirement time!

There ya go! My life in under 200 words

In Germany, "Speck" is pretty cheap - in fact most pork products in Germany are inexpensive.

The German Bacon I really like though is "Knusprige Schweinebauch" (literally crispy Pork Belly) some of the most AWESOME Bacon you will ever eat in your life!

Edit: Flash Forward to today - we can get 3 LBS of Bacon (GOOD BACON!) at our local Sam's Club for $15.00) so mmm $5/lb

Off to pick up a rental car. Bonita and the CR-V yet to be named go into the shop next week for hitches - brakes - bike rack - brackets - generator oil service - 45 point house and coach inspection - repeater for and 4 sensors for Toad TST. My wallet will be in intensive care following the extraction of its contents. But Bonita Bounder - Rainbow Rider is nearing launch time. Thank goodness we now have a rocket scientist among us to guide us!!

Sena and I are attached at the hip. Being a Type 2 diabetic she requires 2 daily insulin injections and won't let anyone but me give them to her.

While I was in the hospital for 3.5 days Sena wouldn't let Arlene give her the shots, even tho we had Arlene give the morning shots for 3 months prior to surgery. So, she got nothing but protein to eat.

I don't want to leave her unless absolutely necessary. When people meet her they say, "I want a monkey.", my reply is always, "No you don't, they take over your life."
