November isn't too bad here usually, we don't get a first frost until around Halloweenish... If I were to go south, I'd do it in January or February.
Marty - ya know of course the RGV has lots of room for you, Bob, Bess and Honey. Open invitation!

Steve, is it possible to loosen the switch from the bracket and slide it back, or slide the bracket itself back an inch?

Or like Wayne said, swing it around!

Looking at Les's kitchen remodel I thought he was teaching his wife a lesson. Sure you can have new appliances, and I got rid of those counter tops you hated too!

I called Roadmaster today. They say to take the little "flag" off of it that screams "Take Me". The breakaway switch box is held in place by one screw. They say it may wallow out the hole over time but you can twist it back and forth.
They also say it should be out in front so there is no interference and you can be sure it is properly connected. I pretty much agree.

I solved my biggest problem by taking the "flag" off and my secondary problem by ordering two more of the "pins" as backups. Can keep one in the car and one in the tool box.

The ring really doesn't need this plastic tag flapping from it...

I've had a similar type pin on my TTs in the past and never had a reason to replace the little Gizmo. No dollar value so not something likely to disappear.

I called my friend Bernie Maydoff and ask him what to do if someone took my breakaway pin. Answer, take one from your neighbor, oh don't worry, they then can take one from someone else. Oh don't worry about the last person because there is always more campers coming in! As a matter of fact you could easly take two, that would be planning for your future! O Bernie really has things figured out, and he's a lot easier to find now a days.

So Steve no worry!
