Mary Ann and I hope that all of you are well or on the road to recovery.
We are headed to Florida at the end of October to deliver our MH to our campground's storage lot. We didn't like the experience of getting our MH out of Indiana with an actual temperature of -5. So we are storing it in Florida at a cheap rate and then driving the toad back and forth.
We will drive our MH through 2 more "virgin" states. That will mean that the MH has been in 47 of the 49 drivable states since September 2010. We need to hit NJ and Conn. on our way to the Canadian Maritimes next summer.
Travel easy.

We have the maritimes on our list for 2016 :-(

We are hoping to get up there 2015, did west last summer.. So hope east next summer
But i am still waiting to see where and when the GC will be.....
I hate to do too much planning ahead, well, thinking, no actual reservations anymore.... Until the RVM sets the festivities...
Would hate to be on the opposite side of the country....
Even a tentative date would help......
Hint hint
Diane is the original FTSFM........... (Fast Talking Sliding Finger Mutant, #64) and is retired, duh!

Not yet, decision should be made by December, Nashville, Tn front runner but that could change.
The trip East sounds good for 2016!

I will be working through all of the suggestions I have and trying to cross reference mutant migration patterns in December as well. I appreciate everyone's patience with this. I really can't wait to dig in on the planning myself... but there is just so much happening it's like a swarm of bees around my head at the moment.

Glad to hear our great leader has been cleared by yet another specialist (EENT). All a part of the puzzle, soon to be completed and cleared for the next great spread of pieces to assemble. Soon!
Marty, fresh kombucha has been assembled with vinegar from that last batch. Will it work this time? Will the scoby be well fed? Will the sun rise in the morning? Stay tuned for the next exciting episode of ... "As the Demijohn Turns".
Cheers!

In the future... you don't need to add vinegar if you keep about a cup of the previous kombucha batch back with the scoby to start your new batch... just add the fresh cooled sweet tea! (edit here... oh, now I get it, the kombucha that went too far...I needed about 2 more sips of coffee for more optimal brain function...LOL!)
My new ferment adventure has begun... I am learning now on my own with the internet's help how to make a ginger bug. I think it might be a better base to make home brewed Root beer, but I love ginger ale and ginger beer too... and you can make all sorts of sodas with it apparently... I have a friend who is pregnant and has diabetes, and has awful "too much" nausea... so she has to be very careful and that is the catalyst for this new epicurean adventure.

Ah, but the vinegar IS my previous boocha! That's why this is an adventure!
Mum Cutter used to keep a ginger beer plant in her kitchen. It was a similar thing to your ginger bug, maybe, that had to be fed, kept under the sink, and the "beer " bottled. The. "Beer" was a soft drink.
Ginger is good for settling stomachs, isn't it, so perhaps your "bug" will be helpful for your friend. Good luck!
Cheers, and keep me posted, willya, as I will you.

Crystallized ginger helps as well... But it does contain sugar, so friend with diabetes might not can nibble on it... Surprisingly garlic helps when i have nausea from post gall bladder......
