You must be talking about Thelma and Louise.
If I hadn't burned all my PTO recently with this dang knee, I would definitely take a few days off, get a cottage in Rockport, and give all y'all heck.
However, since I burned all my PTO and am trying to save up enough to take off for a long weekend to celebrate our Anniversary, then Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and the day after, New Year's Day, and another 4 or 5 days when my son & DIL come down from )Michigan in January ... I don't have a day to spare. I'm just praying I don't get a stomach virus or something that would prevent me from going in to work!
I should be able to catch up a little this spring, since we don't get any holidays off after New Year's Day until Memorial Day. (I work for a Catholic hospital and we don't get Good Friday off. I worked for a secular hospital and we did get Good Friday off. Truth is stranger than fiction. We only get 6 paid holidays a year. I shoulda gone to work for the gub'ment when I had the chance.)
We will do the free adult beverages for y'all at our first get-together with some STMs.... Steve, you're buying the alcholol and I'm mixing the drinks, right? hee hee hee. Naw... I'll make pina coladas (Kate's favorite drink and she says I make the best in the world) and margaritas. Now, when can we make this happen????

Mel good luck on your search for the perfect rainbow rider. I remember reading an article last week talking about how our gov had it calculated and it didn't matter if one retires at 62, 65,or 70. The average payout from SSI is the same in dollars based on the life expectancy calculations.
Tim..... this was in my backyard the other evening.
And last evening there were 3 more, but couldn't get pic of them before they took off.

Gee whiz, did I start something? Good! Can't remember where I first heard about clafoutis, but it must have been online. Mine are more pie than cake, and mostly custard.
My favorite is made with pears, canned or fresh. Cherries are said to be good, possibly the original, but I've not tried it that way.
I'm sure it can be made GF, as well, and I'll make it that way next time. It IS pear season now, after all, and there are all these different flours in my freezer....
Cheers!

Hmmmm..
The Vitamix is already in Bonita Bounder....
Yes - Healing Ommms your way for no stomach virus etc...
You have a busy schedule. I'm surprised you did think of going full time sooner to get away from all those demands (ok - fun things to do)...
Well - I was just pointing out that Drifters (and other places) often have cabins and such. So when ya of a curiosity occurring you might consider a getaway - even if the rainbow is still on the drawing board.
BTW - I'm pretty sure that when Butch and Sundance went over the cliff they survived - Thelma and Louise.. not so much...
Sharpen your pencil - plan your escape - escape your plans..
The nice thing about the riding the rainbow - everyone on it or entering yields the right away - no finger waving - nobody trying to ruin your day... Everybody anxious and excited to see you join us!

So Annie wanted to be sure our tires were properly inflated so we got the TST 507 System. Then she said she wanted a back up system for tire pressure and she wanted some sort of security system installed. So we killed 2 birds with one stone...

Makes me sad that you, Tim and Jeff have to get dressed up and head out in the woods when all I have to do is set in my rocker or the hot tub on the back porch. The turkeys should be along soon.
cell phone pic at about 150 yrds, again from standing on the porch.

Annie has a grin of confidence there, holding the "Master Controller of Steve and All Purpose Protection Device". Keep it close at hand when Wayne is near?
