Absolutely... but reading last years post had rates going up in May.

We have the mutant GC at the top of our plans for next year, enjoyed the company at the IRV rally and think a mutant gathering would far exceed the rally we attended.

Rates do go up in May but because of our size and staying a full week I bet we can negotiate something close to what we had last year which was I think $28 or somewhere close to that. Especially if we are only one week into the May season because school is still not out they won't be that full.

Don - guess what - key off operation of MCD blinds must be the default now or yours was wired incorrectly to begin with...

All continue to talk amongst yerselfs re the Redux at CL.

And as Dave - RVM1 - previously envisaged - use the website www.rvnutants to either Contact Us or the Events Survey form to make suggestions for later in the year for Son or GC... it's all good.

Right now I count me - Dave and Nola - Di and Larry and Sue and Martin for a Redux in Hot Springs... and possibly Ed and Jackie who btw - unfortunately had to CLX last year...

Hmmm, let me think about this ... A trip back to Catherine's landing in late April. I dunno. I'm thinking it would be really hard to convince Di, Sue and Tim. I know they had their heart set on someplace else.

This is doable for us. The dates for the first GC (April 24-30) were picked because they were the last 7 days of the "off peak" season and I personally enjoyed the weekdays when we dominated the crowd. I also agree that a mutant cluster close to the pavilion would suit us better than the premium lakeside spots. And yes, they do rent kayaks -- and I'll loan mine to anyone wanting it when I don't.

As for a second GC in 2015 -- sure, why not? The easiest time for me is when I'd be on the move anyway -- mid Sept thru Thanksgiving. I realize that there is probably no date and no place we that could get every mutant, but plenty of advance notice might make it happen for more folks.

Ok just talked to Stan at CL and April is definately available but first three weeks of May are already booked with large groups. He is emailing rate and group info to me and I will pass it along to everyone. He did say they have changed some things about group booking though and without looking I couldn't remember what day we came in and checked out. This year we have to go Sat thru Fri or Sun thru Sun.

Oh and the main difference this year is they no longer do peak and off peak season rates. Guess word is getting out about them and there business is solid year round.

Get him some Kvass made from beets... beets are the single most liver helping tonic around.... Kvass is made from 1/2 inch size cubed beets, salt, water and kefir whey or a probiotic capsule opened and poured in... it is allowed to sit and culture( ferment) for about 3 days on the counter then refrigerated. Tastes like fizzy beet juice... and if you like beets, it's great.
I believe whole foods and a few other health food stores might sell it... I make my own. Actually, I read a blog recently that said it tastes better if you will do some cabbage and onion in the jar with it... gonna try that!
