Monarch Pass! Towed our first fifth wheel over it in a snow storm with a '66 Ford 250 2x2. Big pucker factor! That is when we decided to get a Ford Powerstroke 4x4.
After blowing up tranys in 3 Powerstrokes, we now use a Duramax 3500 4x4 dually. What a difference.

Steve and Annie - just read your post on the stamina tread. Yep, Banjer picking is good for the soul. Hope to get in a bit when we get down south. Heading out on 10/17 for a few days in AVI with a meeting in Laughlin, NV then on Tonopah, AZ for 5 months. Hope to be doing some banjo and slack key guitar time down there. Have a good friend, Steve Martin (no, not that Steve Martin) coming down also and he's a picker. We may not make music but we do make a lot of noise.

Hey RVM10! Good to hear from ya.
If luck can shine on me and Nola we will hook up with you folks. We could have a Mini-Curiosity that would make the RVMs wish they were us!
Check back in more often, eh?
Come to think of it, Tonopah aint too far away!!!!
