Mutants - One and All
I have sent Mel and Kate a picture of Sparky along with his RV Mutant Mascot Welcome. Mel and Kate are currently working to name their Rainbow Rider and looking to adopt a mascot of their own.
When you wish them a Woot on their new to them rainbow rider - perhaps including your mascots picture will give them inspiration.
You out there Theodore? Rocky - Chocolate Moose?

Oh, dontcha know you'll be inundated with pics any day now! Want take some pics of the inside when Kate returns from the conference this evening. I'll get a pic of her in the kitchen ... which, as she says, "is a total misrepresentation!" (I'm Chief Cook in the family. Ha!)

We are indebted to Wayne & Earlene for doing the initial inspection and test drive of the coach. They sent us a detailed report about it along with a photo album of pics they took during their inspection. Thanks guys! It was like we were there in person! And a big thanks to Herb & Barb for checking out several coaches in the Ft. Worth area for us and sending detailed reports and photos. It came down to a coach in Ft. Worth that they inspected/test drove and the one in Galveston. We could not have made this decision without the help from all of you. And another thanks goes to Steve for offering great advice and encouragement. What a great "family" we have in our Mutant world!
Heading home tomorrow. Working on a name for our Discovery and will post that as soon as we decide.
High fives to everyone ... forgot to mention Ken and Dennis and Diane and Barb and Sue and Dave and a host of others who have given encouragement, advice and support throughout our search. You're ALL amazing!
See you at CL in April!

R U an RV Mutant too?
Mel and Kate, allow me to introduce our loyal mascot, Rocky.
Here he is perched in his favorite spot on the front console.
He never says much and never complains.
We suspect he may be foraging for food overnight as he maintains his weight, but he is always back on his perch each morning.
I guess we take him for granite!
Cant wait to see you MH!

Oh Jim, you and Ginny been Jeeping in Moab yet?

I was intrigued and was watching their video on Park ammenities right up to where it says "A"s must be ten years old or newer and 5ers have to be five years old and newer. If they stick to that criteria there are a lot of us mutants, ourselves included, who won't be allowed there.
