Ours is the Weber Two stage 18 1/2" Smokey Mountain Rocket. Still learning to get the amount of charcoal / wood right to go low and slow. On the other hand - with injected big birds - having regular oven temps and cooking times works well and the smoke is subtle, the skin crisp with rub, and the bird moist. Don't take my word for it - c ' ya in Rockport.

Congrats, Larry!

Thanks Barb. It took all of my eBay bidding skills to edge out Dieseltech39. A worthy honor that I will carry proudly until #30,000 takes it.

Meh. 26, 27, .... Doesn't carry the same weight as 25 or 30. Now 50 or whomever get the 100,000 post, that's saying something.

Probably that they spend too much time on this forum.

Di - this looks like it might be a possible on our list of nights on the town in Rockport.

On the dinner menu it says...

HAPPY WINTER Y’ALL 
Enjoy 2 for 1 Main Courses before 6pm

Glow

Of course sides are a la carte lol.

So are we talking a week Wednesday for this historic event to take place. Seems every time I go out of the house I am about three pages behind reading RVMdom when next I tune into "As the Bacon Burns."

On another note: Citrus is in the shop, has been for a week, and needs a new hydraulic pump assembly. Reason for the "new" is because they don't make parts for the "old" anymore. Price around $4k and GS will only pick up a portion of it. I had to cancel our weekend jaunt at the end of the month, and can only hope they fix it soon(er).

It's interesting to me that the first thing ya see on their Website is... prices subject to change with out notice - just like Gold and West Texas Intermediate Crude.

On edit - let me add a big :-)
