Since you will not be there, I'll sit in the next camp site and sniff the air. It'll be like sitting around a camp far (fire).

Here's 1 attagirl. The jam was good though.

Yes the bacon jam was good, but not worth the time..... Besides, how can you best plain old bacon..... You cannot.....
Unless it is a BLT.... But even then......... Bacon is one of those foods that stands alone....

Good morning Wayne......

Agreed: bacon stands alone purty well. Flavored bacon jerky is not worth the money, imo, since it doesn't taste like bacon, nor much like its purported flavors either.

Just the bacon, ma'am, just the bacon.

Good morning, muteable friends. Especially Wayne, since we'll be next door neighbors in April, and I have to keep on his good side. Which is your good side, Wayne? Oh I forgot: round doesn't have a side, does it? 😘

NOAA just announced a Muntant weather alert brewing in the gulf region. Expected to make landfall mid November. No other information at this time since none like this has occurred this close to the gulf shore before. Might expect smokey conditions, hot air and considering the number of Texans a lot of bull droppings flying.

We return you to your regular scheduled thread.

Eegads and gadzooks! Batten down the hatches! Thanks for the warning.

And to think, we'll be driving right into that weather...on purpose! Like the mailman, nothing can deter us from our (self-) appointed rounds.

We will be sporting South Dakota plates as will Don and Sandee - and Barb, Sena and Lilly. Again 33%!

Di - I have lots of GC recipes on my laptop - but last night I came across some hand written ones on the sheets we had last year. Your 2 were in there but not the secret recipe for bacon jam. It was tasty as I recall!

Our plates are Montana....

I also sent the recipes to the mutant web site. So throw the others away.....

Actually found the jam recipe online... Seems to be fairly common, especially in Pacific NW, i had just never heard of it. It made 2 quart jars full, and i liked it on just about everything i ate it with....

I will see if i have it bookmarked.....
Choc chip cookies, buterscotch chip cookies, and orange sugar cookies today..... Doing pumpkin farm with all of the grands on saturday.... Larry is honeydoing on the rv.... His list, not mine......

Ok lunch break, our rv is 4 miles away, so when Larry us working i take him lunch for a break.........
