Key to Nashville (Crashville) is Briley Parkway and 840 depending your direction.

How this could happen is beyond me, but it appears there are those on this tread that believe I might post an untruth! Shame on you! Hehehe
So here is a better pic, along with a pic of a deer still in full velvet , a rarity this time of year!
The cost of hunting is not about the free food, Think, the hunt is the destination!
Loved the poem on other site Wayne, I do have aunt that's my cousin and a bil that's my nephew !

My dad used to hunt quail and dove. He once totaled up what it cost him for that "free" food. He could have bought 4 prime bacon wrapped filets for every bird he brought home. And that didn't count the dentist bill for the tooth he broke biting down on the buckshot.

Hi Barb !!
No no no I wear hunter orange to be safe coat hat and gloves, there is no question that the meat you get costs you dearly, but the thrill of the hunt, the stories in front of a warming fire, a few toasts to those with you and those that have gone before you, are priceless.

Late summer/Early Fall 2015 Location TBD
have to make it early enough we don't get caught trying to get through mountain passes in deep snow.....
There have been a couple of sites suggested.... I'd try to dig them out but I'm supposed to be loading my camper!

Judy, I send summers in Seattle, but won't be there until June. Dennis, aka Possum, some other Canucks and I tried to arrange a get together last summer but life kept getting in the way.
There is talk of a Grande Curiosity in Utah or Idaho, but nothing has gone beyond the talking stage so far. A mini-C is 2 RVMs, a midi is 3-?. Those can happen anytime, anywhere mutants can be at the same place. Now the Grande Curiosity is only once a year and is an organized event.
ALL Curiosities are great fun. It's like going home, but no nagging and no disagreements. Tomorrow we will start a week long midi-C in Rockport, TX.

I'll be staying at the Hide-A-Way (in Ruskin) in February and March. Look forward to someone organizing a mini or midi C during that time. I know I'm going to be contacting Barb during my stay but others are lurking about in that area this winter. Even those that are 2 hours away can meet up for a dinner date or something of that fashion.

Doing my share of shivering down here! Lol
Using a Remington bolt action 7mm, much more effective than my bow! Lol Good luck to you, when we do have snow on ground during season I've found it easier to stalk/track deer, also the walking keeps me WARM!
Did I mention we had a dusting of sleet and snow here this morning
