Denise is involved with a breakfast club for the rural school out in the valley. Yesterday she was sitting in the car watch a mid size bear watching the school kids play. It was about 50 yards away, across the street beyond the fence that surrounds the play field.
Even Tim wouldn't run from that one.

Good morning RVMdom! A little sweet sorrow befalls the Rockport Mutant crew today as we wave "see you next time" to Don and Sandee and Marty and Bob. Annie and I are so glad you joined us here and can't tell ya how much it means to us that you did.

It's amazing how quickly time can fly on the rainbow. As hard as it is to watch em roll, we know we will meet again. It's just that way with family, RVM or otherwise.

Safe travels to all who journey the rainbow; especially you Rockport RVMs.

Steve and Annie

Hey Herb, want to go BARE hunting? Not me, way to cold to be running around without clothes. Don't know what all these mutants are thinking. Or, maybe I need to go back and reread some of those post.

Herb I'll ask this here, since you and I are both the athaletic type. At the GC@CL I didn't have many sign up for the biathlon that was planned, can you say zero. So how would a little competition of say bean bags( some call it corn holeing) or any other suggestion on high energy, low impact games sound?

Sorry but as homeboy I've already ruled out beach volleyball. I've seen some game that includes a ladder and balls and strings being thrown but I've never played.

Other activities might include a yak tour on lake, April is just around the corner, never to late to start planning the fun!

Tim since you're local, can you arrange for the EMTs to be on hand during the competition? I think you may have already pulled something...

Well I thought about horse shoes but I can't catch the horse!

Bean bag toss can be done from a standing, sitting or reclining position in the event the competition and celebrations get to be too much! lol Plus an errant bean bag is much less painful than an errant archery competition!

Just throwing out some ideas, now that Rockport is in the book!

Steve you might head up a bar tending competition one evening, hopefully we could get some judges among the group.

Thanks Wayne I got out of bed this morning about 6 am walked out side smoking a cigarette and just as I put it out a big red tail hawk came up and landed right by me and was just looking at me not worried at all then it flew off so as a native I see this as a great start to my next year on this earth.

Happy birthday Dwayne! Now quit smoking today and you'll have two things to celebrate next year and add years to your life while you're at it

Smoke em if ya got em...

In other words, we are FROZEN TO THE GROUND ... halp, halp, HALP.

If we throw you a rope after you get that blowtorch to loosen your icy bonds, can you hook it up to the RV? We could be the new, low cost way to travel. I'm sure the temps wouldn't mind manning the rope.

Happy Birthday Dwayne!
Mr Hawk could not talk, but his body language said he had respect for you but no fear of you. JMHO!
Have a Mutant Day!

JK JK don't hit me.

Youse guys just have way too much fun.

Thanks! Nola and I take this as a complement to each if us.
BTW, it was my carefully discerning eye that picked her out of a crowd, but she chose me for reasons I will never know.
BTW, I discovered in reviewing my own travel blog that Nola and I went F/T on April 14, 2012, just 1 year prior to the founding of RVMdom.
We will have 3 years of F/T the day before the official start of festivities at CL!!!!

All good/great things come to an end but we look forward to being neighbors in the RGV. Next couple days we will be boon docking or even in a hotel as we have a tad bit of work done on the coach battery system then a few days with Wayne and Earlene in San Antonio followed by a week in New Braunfels. After that we either find something nice for another week or so otherwise we head on down the the RGV.

This has been an awesome week with friends. It is what makes life on the rainbow soooo darn cool!
