Dwayne , happy belated birthday to you, and healing oooohhhmmmssss to Share.
We left Indiana Saturday morning only to discover a frozen water pump in the coach, we stopped at a CW in Indianapolis and they didn't have parts and suggested Ace Hardware. We stopped at CW in Bowling Green, KY and got everything we needed, plus they let us spend the night hooked up to a 50 amp plug, I switched out the pump this morning, and we got to have nice hot showers to start out the day , and guess where we landed for the night , why none other than Little Rock, AR , how's that for Deja Vu .... lol .....
We are headed for sunny AZ and tomorrow skirting the likes of DFW and lands southwest of there.
Wishing y'all safe journeys ...
Cheers !!!

You can stop here only an hour 1/2 from Phoenix. I'll go hunting in the morning and get some more deer. If you don't have my number get it from Steve

Welcome
Welcome Don, Misty and kids. Hubby and I are new here. Hope to meet the RVM crew in Hot Springs in April.
We are raising our 10 & 12 yr old granddaughters, maybe you can give us some tips on traveling with kids.

R U an RV Mutant too?
Well, mutant family, we've driven Chicago, rush hour Boston, CA freeways, St. Louis, and other metropoli, together and separately, and now it seems we are about to survive driving through Houston. We are at last eastbound on I-10, having had just the one tie up past an accident.
The sun shines upon our stretch of the rainbow today, except for having to leave Steve and Annie this morning. 🎶The rain, the rain, it went away ... 🎶 😍

Best wishes to all on the rainbow !

I read below that you are passing through Houston, so I'm safe to assume that what happened to me at that fueling station didn't happen to you. So nice to assume that.

Houston traffic is a piece of cake. I do it all the time. I'll wager that the accident traffic tie-up only caused a 15 minute delay. Stay on lane from the left hand lane except when you need to exit. The drivers will just go around you with a 1 finger wave.

Hi Sue.. Hi Martin - we found the butcher here had rib eyes for $9.99 a pound - and the fishmonger off Broadway had huge local shrimp $12 a pound. We had some nice meals out but it would have been easy to have grilled steak and shrimp. I will prove that Thursday... lol...

Even though we have a diesel pusher which would be considered a middle class RV there are still things that we do not currently have like:
TPMS, integrated smartphone monitoring system, bathtub, hottub, second bathroom, large enough kitchen sink, tankless hot water heater, heated tile floors, air bladder slide seals, two master bedroom slides, and extra freezer.
So we are not really roughing it, but we are doing without from when we lived in our house. But we do not miss any of the above and enjoy our nomadic lifestyle very much. We would have it no other way and do not ever plan on living in a house again.
So I feel like we are RV Mutants and would like to join this group.
Thanks!
Don

Paradise might have moved over here at Sea Rim State Park:
Sea Rim has lots of room and we're booked in till Sat. Got here around 5:15. Three other rigs here, all facing the Gulf. Just what we wanted.
Pics at 10:00. Not sayin' am or pm or which day, though.
Time to eat & chill out. Or chillax, as the kids are saying.
Cheers!

Happy Mutants! It looks nicer than Goose Island and just as "lonely" LOL...
I am so glad we talked about this sort of place yesterday. And there ya go and getcha one! Woot.
It was beautiful here today... I'm thinking you're in for 5 days of sunshine. Did you go ahead and get the park pass for the discount?

Let's play Ponder...
So we drive to what's become our RVM Outpost - the Super Walmart, and we spy a Lambo... (plate cropped to protect the innocent)...
So does this belong to a local shrimp tycoon - the mayor or this quiet, little, sleepy Bayside town... my ponder - a visitor - and fits in his Prevost extreme RV toy hauler.

Hey guys... Am safely back in my rv in the USA... The mexicab dentist here was easy.... Ozzie picked me and others up, drove us to the door, took me later to the pharmacy (even went inside with me) and later deposited me back at my jeep.... He is the dentists brother..... Will post their website later. Been a really long tiring day.....
In the meantime i met Don on RVillage, wrote him to introduce myself as we are in the same park. As I read his blog, i quickly saw their mutantcy...... Btw, think it was his kids that waved to me as we checked in.... I am too tired to walk over and have a mini C meet with them tonight, but I will..... And will take my camera....
Diane toftSFM#64....... (The Original Fast Talking Sliding Finger Mutant) and is retired, duh!
