So I know you said you had the wind swept and salt cured oaks in your minds eye for painting - but here is a modest pic... there are many better stands as you know - but this one caught my eye for reason.
On Edit... perhaps it was the well water sign... a reminder for Martin...

Did I really? What was I drinking? Maybe it was Diane? The trees are fascinating, but I don't remember wanting to paint them. Now I understand why you made such a point of showing us those. I do like the pic you posted.
Martin will never forget the well water! I'll make sure he sees that sign.

Had to have been you.... I never rode in the car with either Steve or Annie...

Here ye - Here ye. RVMs near and far and especially those currently roaming the rainbow and phoning in Thanksgiving greetings to folks and family back "home".
Much happiness to you and yours this Thanksgiving from Annie and I.
I have told many of you face to face how much you mutants mean to us - and it's especially so this, our first holiday on the road. We can't think of anywhere we'd rather be - but there are others we would host and welcome to dinner and such back in Plano and our thoughts turn to them now.
Evelyn was Annies friend for years before she and I met and was with us when we married. It was really nice of her to drive 5 hours to spend a few days here. She had never seen Bonita Bounder so this is an adventure for her. The Queen Air is out and we're watching TV. These are the times when the 1/2 bath and opposing slides come in handy.

Good Evening Mutants !!!!!
Well we landed in Phoenix today at roughly 3pm, I am tired very much so but we will be with my daughter and my sister in law and brother in law for Thanksgiving. We went to a place called Oregano's for dinner, superb and fantastic are understatements, now we are off to get wine for tomorrow's feast and groceries for Theodor, but not before I enjoy a glass or two of good scotch just for the simple enjoyment of it.
Goodnight all and have a wonderfully thankful Thanksgiving.
Cheers !!!

Next time Di... next time..
So the conversation was - should I pull over so you can get a pic for painting. Something something lots of pics have the memory of... and such and such...
But there is just something in the barren - nakedness of the oaks...

Posting our first Mini-C info. Barb and Sena stopped by this morning on there way to So Fl. Had a great visit, and really enjoyed weather and monkey business. Don't think we could handle the responsibility of Sena, but she is really cool. Barb has Saint level patience. Had more guests stop by soon after Barb had to head south, so just now posting this. Will try to attach pics. Any other RVM's cruising by please stop and see us. Barb says you're all pretty cool.

Happy Thanksgiving to all our US mutants, and a plain ole great day to our international mutants. There's so much to be thankful for, even if there are bumps in the rainbow. I try to remember that every day.
Turkey or venison or TVP, enjoy the feast!
Sue

Have a wonderful day you STM"s!
Me? I'm headed out the door to go turn loose a client's chickens, Guineas, and ducks for the day, and pray nothing prey's on them while their people are gone to eat another relative of said fowl.....then heading off to see my Hubby's family for the day, and back again to close up said fowl and hit the bed!
