Sure is fun typing at a 90 degree angle. Will report as possible. Love you guys.

Best wishes Steve! I am so pleased and thankful that medical science has been able to do what they canfor you. It was not all that long ago that such procedures were yet to be created.
Just catching up here. Moved to Yuma yesterday.
You and MaryAnne are in our prayers!

R U an RV Mutant too?

Small world encounter: While Martin was calling ahead to make our reservation for tonight, the clerk looking up our KOA number said, "You're from Sidney, IL." "Yes." "I'm from Mahomet." Mahomet is 30 miles or so away from our S & B, and I've done some work in the schools there.

Where in Yuma, please? Our stay in Yuma a few years ago was on the edge of town (ok), but in a very urban park (not so ok). I've heard the foothills area recommended, but haven't seen it. Martin needs his satellites and I need some space and wildness.

My what a day this has been. Went to my eye doctor with clouded vision in my left eye. She sent me to a retina specialist at the Midwest Eye Institute.

I had an emergency procedure done on both eyes this afternoon. The left eye has a detached retina. They inserted a gas bubble to see if this will repair the problem. If not, I will likely have surgery in the next few days to continue the attempt to restore my sight in that eye. While examining the left eye the doctor found 2-3 tears in the right retina. He did a laser procedure to fix this problem (hopefully). The cause is unknown as well as the prognosis on the left eye.

Continue to pray for me as I struggle with the doctor's orders concerning the sitting position necessary to promote healing. I have to keep my head tilted at a 80 degree angle to give the bubble a chance to do its magic. I continue to be positive concerning the outcome.
Wow, our thoughts and healing Ohms go out to you at this trying time. Hang in there, do as you're told and heal.

Do as he's told? I'm sure he's trying, but maybe we ought to ask Mary Ann how that works out. 😇 How trying are you, Steve?

Continued ommms!

Oh my gosh. You guys are really a stitch. Laughter is a good medicine.

Mary Ann is amused by how well some of you seem to know me. I am the perfect, compliant patient. Would you expect anything less?

Keeping my head cocked to the right is a PITA. No comment Wayne. You STM.

I think you both would like it here at the Cocopah.
http://www.cocopahrv.com/index-mobile.html
Quiet, away from traffic and trains, close to amenities, on the Rio Grande, close to both Yuma and Algodones (I think it translates to "large cheap marguaritas").

You'd have withdrawal symptoms!

At home, our "train set" runs past about 1/2 mile away. It's part of our soundscape.

I actually love to hear trains at night, the closer the better. But most folks call them a bother when camping.
12 years in our 1st house in MN, trains 300 feet away that shook the house. Soothing!

Sorry, but it is in my nature to comment. I even have visions. One is you chasing Mary Ann round, and round the coffee table, tripping because you can't see. (Besides not able to run as fast.) Not catching her.

Go ahead, make him. Texas needs a reprieve from his antics.
