Inland a bit, Di. This is O'Leno SP near Gainesville. High Springs is the nearest town and a sweet place. A little touristy, but a real town with hardware store, beautician, diner and suchlike. This was lunch:
You can see why I had to have Floyds Salad (bacon!) ... and a side of grits w/butter. Mmmm!
And this is the place:
I'm letting the fire die down now. The squirrels have gone to bed and the crickets are louder than the neighbors. Life could hardly get any better. I'll go in smelling like a kippered herring and smiling like a Cheshire Cat!

We again made progress. The bike is off the back of the car - the scooter is out and set up. The lights are on.

Whatever keeps the critters away.  The little bats flying around at dusk (rats with wings) suggest there may be other critters roaming in the darkness...
