You should preface all that with "Zales," or any other jewelry store.

Reddimg --- Morning - and I'm not sure you came to the right place for intelligent reading.

EEEK AND WHAT THE HEY

So midnight last night - rain - a big pow wakes me - a transformer blew - that has last us without 120. Tech has proofed everything up to transfer switch - power on the incoming side - nothing on the other side.

We can't find any other fuses or breakers to test and and EMS display not lit. He thinks there is a another fuse and doesn't believe the transfer swith is bad and yet... so he is going to by pass the ATS taking the generator offline - and getting 120 to the coach. This is all past the breakers and fuses so it is "safe" and will work until someone with more specific knowledge can look at it. Seems right to me and I have followed the lines with the guy and looked at schematics at it appears a sound solution for a Sunday.

Of course Annie is not pleased - but I'm of the opinion that we go this route rather than play generator tag today and until - the real solution is found. Any other ideas mutants...

Thanks Wayne. I don't know a lot about ATS and while the manuals say replace it when traced to where we are now... the guy said - well anyone could have written that... he seems to think that there is some some something that is part of switch that went out and not the entire switch. But whatever that is - is beyond his scope. I believe he is correct but I guess we shall see.. hopefully when he wires her up - we will have 120.

So there was something in that Nikon box you were holding - apparently an ugly dude and a cute little lady.

I deleted the post just before your "thanks," because the time delay relay would not be the problem with the shore power, it would only prevent the generator from having a load on it when it starts. I was just thinking out loud, and you know how that goes.

Yep, there are two relays in there that kick in on demand when power is applied from either source. In my case the generator has priority over shore power. The relays are replaceable (guess that depends on Mfg.)

One relay from generator sends power to control panel when active, and one relay from shore power sends power to control panel when active, with generator relay having priority. Blah, blah, blah - I'll send an email.

Lived in South Louisiana for about 16 years. One day I came out of the plant to go home. As I started around my car to get in, I noticed a gator, about 4 feet, under the truck next to me. I went back inside and told the owner. He came out, hardly slowed down, grabbed the gator by the tail, and slung him in the back of the truck. Looked at me, said "dinner" and went home. And yes, he was very Cajun.

Grew up in the country with a 3 acre "table garden", chickens, and cows. When you were in the barnyard you learned to pay close attention to where you were standing. Trust me!

Naw! Zale took Jeeps apart just enough to take naps under them.
He also taught GI driver training and the correct vernacular in saying "veeee-hickall".

I took that Nikon puppy apart and didn't find a lady or an ugly dude. Are you sure?
You should see it with that big lens. Which reminds me, I did some spearmintin. I put that really big (500mm) lens made for Nikon on my 4/3 Panasonic and took a few pictures. Turned out as good as Panasonic lens. The effective field of view is some like 615mm on that 4/3. Now I'll hush and go look for mosquitoes.
