Dwayne & Shara are you just wanting to anchor one end of the mutant rainbow at your little gold mine?

Enjoy yourselves and maybe we will be wandering close by some day so we can mini-c in the area.

You can always pull up anchor and drag the jeep to gatherings.

Dwayne and Shara, congrats on the S&B. Wait did I get that right. Well like Possum said the rainbow has to touch down somewhere. As some join the rainbow travel, others take a break. If being the best parents and grandparents there is includes a break from the rainbow then it's the right thing to do. Congrats and do keep in touch!

We'll hold ya to to that Dave. Get all healed up and then give me a yell. Florida started off super foggy this morning but turned out simply beautiful! You can't knock sunny, 72 degrees with a light breeze.

Dwayne,

If I didn't park for 3+ months at a time on private property I'd probably consider giving up full time RVing, too. It's hard to live too close to even wonderful people.

How about a hint at where you are? What state? I think I have a decent idea based on where we last saw you and Shara. Perhaps you are close to a relative? I just want to know where to catch up with you to make up for that mini-C I flaked on.

I hope you both get lots of healing done and enjoy the peace and quiet that 24 acres can afford. Hugs!

Just when you think you have heard it ALL.

I went to my bank earlier and got some cash, then went to Chase Bank to deposit my oldest son's Christmas gift money. (He lives in Oregon, so I just deposit directly into his bank account.) Get this... the teller told me that they could NOT ACCEPT CASH as a deposit since I don't have an account with Chase. Um...WHAT???

WHAT THE HELL, CHASE... YOU ARE A BANK and you WON'T ACCEPT CASH??? Did you ever hear anything so ridiculous? I had to use my debit card to deposit the money, so now I have cash that I will have to go back to MY bank and re-deposit.

I'm a humbug.

Sarah, I'd say Chase is the humbug for having such a stupid policy. Are you up for adopting? I'm volunteering.

Not that you wouldn't make a great family addition, Barb...but we already have five kids.

I guess Chase thinks I'm a money-laundering drug cartel boss or terrorist. I need to stop cruising in my low-rider with small unmarked bills in a paper bag.

Sarah, You got a raw deal at the bank/almost a bank, here's a lil' something to cheer you up for the Holidays, Humor............................................. ...

Q: Why is Santa so jolly?
A: Because he knows where all the naughty girls live.

Q: Why doesn't Santa have any children ?
A: Because he only comes once a year, and when he does, it's down the chimney.

Q: What do you call an elf who sings?
A: a wrapper!

Q: Why is Christmas just like your job?
A: You do all the work and the fat guy with the suit gets all the credit.
