R U an RV Mutant too?

Oh goodee! Another easy foodie thing to make, and I happen to have rum on hand. Thank you, Marty!

We have some really good cooks in this mutant nation, has anyone noticed? (How could we not?) Would love to hear from more. The grand Poobah has been posting pics sans directions, as has our great Potentate. Now I ask you: is that fair?

I'd say Sparky has mutated into quite the amusing looking (and quite happy I might add) squirrel. Guess it's the first I've seen him.

With this there is no need to bother with making it... Whole Foods, about $10 a bottle....
Full of tiny vanilla seeds... Wont make ice cream without it.....

To me, they are the standard - didn't even look but bet it's Bourbon Island Madagascar Vanilla.

But McCormick and about any will pass muster - 35% alcohol... good bean as Marty has indicated and make your own. I tossed some beans that I had let get pretty dry when we rolled up the carpet and headed south... just couldn't take everything. I opted for olive oils, salts and vinegars. But the whole bean of it is - it sure made the waffles taste good!

My parents bought and brought home mexican vanilla when I was a younger gal... I think it was the first and last time they ever set foot inside a liquor store... ( taboos in their society ...besides that... mom's dad was an alcoholic and had a trumatized past... so it wasn't something we ever saw at our house growing up.) (When I was a teen I did find whiskey in a top cabinet squirreled away in case grandma had a heart attack???)

Fresh made today..... Come and get it....
I make it for Larry, he is so spoiled he hardly will eat store bought. IF i gad a big freezer in RV i would bring his ice cream freezer along. Gave it to him 5 years ago and use it weekly. Have developed a very low sugar, almost sugar free recipe for him.... It is GF, but not fat free.... Use half and half.

Chocomoose says to tell Sparky thanks and a merry season to him too. Happy, happy to all the other mutant mascots and their companions.

Magical mutant moments on the ship, from our balcony at the stern, as we approached Grand Turk:
