Guess who went to bed at 7:30 last night, but then got up to go in to work today! I think Bob is finally on the mend.
Sue... here is the recipe I was thinking about, but couldn't find right off....it uses rum.

The vanilla looks like a fun project but not sure Annie will hold it while I drive us hither and yon... lol.

We opted out travel to the beach today - when it dawned on me we're retired and this is a holiday weekend... doh. We will watch for a good weather day during the week once the holidays are over and school is in session. Should be much more enjoyable journey.

Why is it if you post something on line for sale everyone says I'll be there tomorrow then never show then tell you plans changed I'll be there tomorrow. This has happened to us 10 times with 4 people.

Unfortunately it comes with the territory. In my years of buying and selling, I've had it happen. Many say "tomorrow" then don't show up at all. The ones that pee me off are the tire kickers that tell you they can buy it cheaper somewhere else like down south. I've been real close to throwing several people out of my coaches. It's maddening!

Here is how I handle that. They say" I can buy that down south for $50." I say "no Problem. I'll sell it to you for $50. Then you will still owe me $20 to get out of this coach with everything in place. I think fewer people are raised with good manners..... And to show courtesy and respect.
I believe that most people are basically good, but i am still rather naive on that as well.....
And find more and more that many are more bad than good.....
